While we have faith in ours , shouldn't we have a respect for other religions? I'm really scared at the way some are behaving.

Religion is a parody of itself.

Some are able to see that the religions mock at the God by vesting right in the prophets to decide what the God should do. Since such religions insult God, people mock at them.
Those religions do not understand that their concepts amount to saying that God is created by them . Some religions have undergone several changes over the years and they can still improve upon it in thelight of imporvements in science and logic .Some other religions do not at all think of changing wiht the times and but still adamntly stick to the out- of -date unsocial and inhuman concepts and teachings but mistinterpret them blatanty .Nobody would say anything bad about any religion unless some people of some religions boast about them in a public forum like this while they are irrelevent to the present times and unsuitable to all cultures of the world and contain all drawbacks .They seem to forget that God did not come into existence after these religions or prophets came into existence and that God is absolute and unborn and so is timeless and such a god who made everything in the cosmos DID NOT CHOOSE TO MAKE ANY RELIGION.AT ALL. HE WAS NOT INCAPABLE OF MAKING THE RELIGIONS ALSO IF HE SO WANTED .
No religion is God- made and if any man declared that it was God who told him to create any religioin , it is a lie .
Religion if made for the the welfare and peace of all lives and humanity in the universe with animus towards none whether belivers or non-believers, deserve all respects by all people of the world ;; but others do not .That is what people seem to do here .
So those who do not like or want the defects in their religions to be commented upon by others, will do well to refrain from speaking about theirs and boasting or bragging about them in a public forum.Lest they should be tolerant to criticism and reply to criticisms decently without resorting to abuses and threats.
Everybody shoud respect every other faith. One who believes in such a concept shall refrain from sliging mud on others too. Respect shoud be mutual and one should take care to see that he does not imply or say anything adverse against any other faith. To say that my faith alone is the real faith and my God alone is the true God and that all others are worshiping demons and Demi- Gods will be surely offensive . If eveybody could refrain from sayng things like this ., there will be no problem.
This is not happening ,because some people want to convert others to their religions and so they in the processof selling their religions speak ill of others , just like people in competetive businesses do. They can not claim such a right and require others to keep mum.also .

You are so right..People here blaspheme scriptures, saints, prophets, God and leave alone faith and other's religions.
The only thing one can do and the best thing is to report such questions. Such people dont find any other outlet for venting thier frustrations in life so they use such forums. This is a public forum -plenty of such things one sees.If someone is too sensitive its wise for him or her to refrain from participating. There is too much crudeness if you see ya international you will realise.
It will be good if you keep your activities confined to your contacts and just dont look at all questions and comments.Even then if such things disturb one too much its better to leave.

edit- i think your question needs a correction. How can these people " mock" God ?? God can never be mocked .... a small fry can not soak the ocean

I have the same thoughts about people who mock God. I understand that many who mock God are actually seeking to see God by outwardly expressing contempt, as though God had an human ego that would lash out at the mocker thus exposing Himself to the fool. God doesn't do that. However, His messengers are watching and protecting. I certainly would not want to be in the Mocker's skin when their contempt is answered. It makes me cringe to think of what might happen, I think, "The poor buggers. What have they doing to themselves?" I keep my mouth shut and don't encourage the fools to ramp up their stupidity. They are in for a really really rough ride.

Sometimes it is hard to respect other faiths. I just learned my ancestors were Mormon polygamists. I am finding it very hard to respect both my ancestors and the Mormon church.
I have a problem with Islamic terrorists and the people in that faith who refuse to stand up and condemn such behavior.
Is it not the Christian Churches duty to stand up and speak out when religions are out of line with what the Bible teaches?

These are people who don't believe in "God" or at least a "God" who pulls strings...so they do not believe in or fear consequences. What makes them do it? Confusion. 2 kinds of people, ones who retreat and ones who lash out.

I agree, if EVERYONE was respectful towards each other instead of being spiteful and hateful we would finally have world peace. But sadly it's never gonna happen.

The only consequence of witnessing to the truth is that you gain the respect of your equals.

And the hate of bigots (which I can live with).

Why be scared of what God has already predicted in His Word? As the end draws closer people will become more rude, disrespectful and ignorant of what is real. Sit back and watch. The end is so close you can almost see it.
