It would depend on why she lied. That may depend on her age or how experienced she actually is.

Lying about it is not that big a deal. Perhaps you are a virgin and so she said it so that you wouldn't worry about not being as experienced. Or perhaps she only had sex once and it wasn't anything special so she felt that with you it would be special and new.

However, lying is not good. And relationships should ideally have trust. So you maybe need to ask her why she lied. Is she hiding umpteen sexual partners in her past?!

I don't think this is the worst lie in the book. I mean, how many young guys ARE virgins but say they're not! Alot I'm sure. But ask her for her reasons. If they seem sound, give her another chance, but if not, then move on.

Finding out she's not a virgin shouldn't be a reason to end the relationship - unless of course you feel very strongly about it.

The issue here is that she lied to you, and if she lied once who says she wont do it again? You dont say how you found out, if it was from someone else are you sure they have the facts right? There may be more to it than you realise. Talk to her and find out why she kept the truth from you before you make your decision.

Obviously I don't know why she lied, only she can tell you that, but maybe she lost her virginity in not the way she wanted to and regrets it. Maybe she wants to try and do it properly with someone special (ie you maybe?), and have THAT as the moment she will remember.

Don't break up with her for the sake of this. And anyway, how do you know? Is it gossip? Maybe it's not true? Have a chat with her, it's the only way to the bottom of this.

It depend how long ago she had sex with the guy. Don't you know that if it is over 100 days ago, she goes back to being a virgin again. You young people know so little.

you should still love her so she made a mistake of telling you shes a virgin when shes not, maybe its all just apart of her past she wants to forget about. You cant blame her for not wanting to tell you something like that.

I dont know how you could find out for sure if she was one or not but why is she lying to you? If your going to have a girlfriend then have someone who is honest and trustworthy, so that they have your back. Not a lying two-faced b*tch.

Do nothing and carry on, what she did before she met you is none of your business really, were you a virgin? AND WOULD YOU EXPECT TO BE DUMPED IF NOT?
