Maybe a better statement would be"I do not wish unsolicited contact about your religion" same as cold callers,we get the mormon boys over here knocking on our doors every few weeks and they can't understand the hostility this causes,we don't knock on your doors, don't knock at ours..by all means have a discussion on these boards but people don't have the right to send religious junk mail to people who have not asked for it...It is called freedom from persecution..peace

isn't going to particular religious questions on Yahoo Answers like asking about particular religions?
To avoid a religion is easy on here. ask your own questions about the religion/spirituality you wish to discuss, block the trolls that put up the same thing over and over again and cross religious questions in order to proselytize their religion, and finally don't go to questions directed for or by the religion you are not interested in.
Same works for real life.
It's really pretty simple to figure out.
Edit: Which part of "same works in real life did you not understand".
Block the emails, don't hang out with them at work, keep all conversation to work issues, if they are discussing religion walk away. It's hardly a major trauma and hardly difficult to stop.

A Lot of people spend a lot of time on this subject that say they don't have any interest in it. If you don't care about being a Christian, then don't. The chose is yours. However one day you and me will stand before a Mighty Judge which is God the Father and will give an account of our lives, and what we did with the Lord Jesus Christ. Pilot asked "What shall I do with this man called Jesus". Now all of us will stand there as sinners, the only difference is that some have ask Jesus to save them from their sins, and he did. Now when we all, every man, woman and child ever born in the world stand before the righteous Judge, all just dust. Who will stand on your side? There to plea your case for the things committed in your body. For me it will be my Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ the only begotten son of the Father. You will answer for the times you stood and proclaimed you didn't want anything to do with My Lord and Savior or my religion if you don't change things while you still can. I don't know so couldn't ask you before, but now I will ask you to consider what Jesus did when he died to save your wretched soul. God will not always let people trod upon the Blood of Christ, there will come a reckoning. Come while still He stands with open arms so that whosoever will can come and drink of the waters of life freely. I did, wouldn't you like to feel free. Wake every morning with a new hope, joy, and happiness, in what the Lord has done for you.

But what if the reason you lack an interest is because you're yet to hear anything interesting about it? Surely that would be a reason for me to share interesting facts with you, wouldn't it? If you think about anything that does interest you, there must have been a time at which you had no interest in it because you didn't know anything about it.
Hypothetically, that is. I don't actually have a religion.

I don't think the people who try to give you unwanted information understand that if you were interested just a tad that would make you change your mind.
People don't walk up to you and ask what political party you're signed up with and promptly try to change you mind.....because they know it would be such a scene.
I think you show people what kind of religion you believe in simply by how you live your life....and that would make them ask you questions.

Not necessarily. It might be that you are too shy to ask.
A lot of people suffer from social anxiety, and avoid conversations, despite the fact that a conversation, (even a conversation with a fundamentalist Christian), would be more beneficial to them than no conversation at all.

The world belongs to MY YAHWEH. GET off or we'll deal with you soon enough. I don't need your permission. WE have already warned you what is coming. I don't have to wait for you, nor explain myself.
Luk 19:27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay [them] before me.
Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
TAKE IT as a PROMISE, not a threat.

No, you wouldn't. At any rate you'd be too opinionated to consider the response properly.
