Yes there are.

However, the contradictions are in the transalations and not the principles that are laid out. Now you also called them "HOLY BOOKS". I do not know which ones you are specifically talking about. Every writting of Antiquity has been found to have contradictions in them and it is usually the same reason. Now THE BIBLE, which is my personal "Holy Book", is 98% Contradiction free except for certain areas where many schloars and professors of Ancient languages can not agree on. Believe it or not, these are not principle type contradictions either. HA HA they are about the names of towns or a person or even if it was a "drachma" or a "shekel" type thingie.

If we allow God to be God, we find the Loving Father of His creation that wants us to know about Him and Share Himself with us.

God Bless!

Inspired Word of God

Paul writes so beautifully the role of the Holy Scriptures in 2 Tim 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

The Holy Spirit revealed God's plan to different believers, over a period of many centuries. They wrote from different perspectives, cultures and times. The scriptures are completely trustworthy and should only be used to foster the faith and discipline of those who want to live according to God's plan. If used for other purposes it may lead to disillusionment, frustration, disappointment...contradiction!!

I would say in other supposed Holy Books other than the Holy Bible. In the Holy Bible there is no contradictions just misinterpretations of it's content.

Nope...zero, zip, nada...been lookin' for some for going on 12 years now. The only thing I have found are some "census" errors and translational errors...yet the integrity, in spite of the language issues has remained. Considering the length and breadth of the Bible as it is written and passed down through the last 2000 years or so, it has remained surprising scripturally accurate and intact. However, minor the errors might be they do bare looking and so here is a website I found that lists most of them. Love in Christ, ~J~

The details in the sacred writings of all religions are not always in harmony with each other. However, the moral messages behind these details are in full harmony.

yes, yes and yes. by the way these are not called contradictions but different interpretations of the same facts or stories. since no one know lives in those "pre-years"...we are free to interpret what really happened umpteen yrs. ago...on facts or fallacies or events or thinking etc. etc. do not let that bother you --man is made different --no one person is alike, so we simply continue the trend of nature....vive la difference. hope it helps.
