we have seen thousands of fossils of human like mammals that have slowly changed over the last 4 million years. to what we are today. this is a fact. if you take a fossil of a neanderthal and place it in the hand of anyone and ask them if it is real. they will all say yes. ask, is not faith the belief in something without proof. they will point to books that all say the world is 6,000 years old, flat, stars hang from golden chains, the adam and eve story, the tower of babel. people built a tower almost up to heaven. noah loaded up hundreds of mllions of animals on a tiny boat. should a all powerful, all knowing god allow a devil to mislead me? no! if he did. it would be the gods fault ,not mine. do we really need anything other than the golden rule? do unto others as you would have others do unto you. as i would not like to be killed so i should not kill, as i would not like my property stolen then i should not steal. instead of this.we have books of fairy-tales.

why do i find it strange? the torah, bible and koran all talk about killing, the taking of slaves, robbing other tribes after a battle. rape of the females. not one person has said the golden rule should be the base of all religions? why? didn't adam name all animals in one day? at the rate of 2,000,000 a minute?

Oh, but the Bible DOES mention dinosaurs. Check out the book of Job (40:15-19) when the behemoth is mentioned. Many scholars like to say that the "behomoth" is an elephant or hippo. But its describes as having a humongous tail...hmm...and added to the rest of the description, it sure sounds like an apatasaurus or other dinosaur to me!
The term "dinosaur" was not coined until the 1800s. Similarly, skeletal remains were not found until that time. Thus, the KJV, written centuries before then (when people has long forgotten the dinosaurs existence), uses a different term to describe these animals.
Besides this, the Bible is the history of God reaching down to man...not a biology book.

Adam and Eve, tower of Babel. Noah and his magic boat, and the Golden rule are from the same source my friend; they are the stories of people who lived before us. were these stories true??? Who cares!!!!
But the Golden rule makes sense...yes?
Strange that a people who created fairy tales about God would also create a Golden rule that modern humanity embraces. Maybe you should also closely look at those fairy tales; you may well discover the true God within.

The logical answer is that the authors of the Bible didn't have knowledge of fossils or dinosaurs. But to the Fundies this means that the dinosaurs didn't exist and that science is a sham. They didn't forget them, they just didn't know about them. Just because a person calls themself a Christian, doesn't mean they don't have their head up their ***. By the way, I am a Christian.

The Bible does mention creatures that seem to fit the description of dinosaurs - although it doesn't use that particular word, which wasn't coined until 1842.

No, GOD (dunno about these "gods" your talkin' about) has NOT forgotten to mention His ENTIRE creation. if you read between the lines you can see exactly where GOD mentions the times past and how and even what happened. Figured a wise and knowledgable person as yourself would be able to see that without much effort.
God Bless you and Guide you Into His Truth!

there are no "gods" when it comes to the Quraan...why does it hurt you from what others believe....if we want to believe in "fairy tales" then that is our business...that is the way of life we choose...if humankind wants to believe in three gods as one that is what they choose...does you life stop because of how other believe? someone once told me that i am sick because i am a Muslim...because i believe in "fairy tales" well this is how i see it...a group of people think that i am sick for what i believe then so be it...i will still carry my faith in my heart, mind, and soul. no one on Earth can take this from me. Islam is what i believe, Islam is what i feel and Islam is what i will die believing. the mind of people like you only makes me stronger...i love people like you! you teach me so much about myself and i see my values and morals...thanks...warmer wishes to you!
