YES, However, with estimates varying dramatically as to how many have been killed, BECAUSE THEY STILL DO IT, needs to be examined carefully. 60 Million is way too low if you consider the daughters. The MOTHER.....of the false systems that has been killing true believers all over the world since BEFORE there was a Catholic Church is much larger than people realise. Whether you point to the inquisition, the government pawns, the monarchys, certain stages of Napolean, the Spanish, the Hitler war plot, the Russian Revolution, the Islamic INVENTION, the present EU and United Nations,,,, ALL POINT TO ROME, YES!
She AND her pawns will fall soon.
HOWEVER, dont take your eye off the bigger picture. YAHSHUA said SOMETHING had been responsible for ALL the RIGHTEOUS BLOOD SHED. It is the Children, the OFFSPRING of the Devil, GEN.3:15. Cain was the first of many. Esau's lineage became symbolic of it. And the entire BABYLONIAN mindset, which infects catholic and protestant alike now, is part of it. The MONGREL is the ultimate problem, and will be dealt with soon enough.
For RECENT MURDERS DOCUMENTED and carried out by this filthy organization see:

You do know that governments, not Catholics, burned people for heresay, right?
Heresay was a state capital crime, as it threatened the social order and therefore the rule of feudilism. People accused of heretics would be questioned by the Church and given alternatives.
1. They would be pronounced to not be heretics.
2. They would be heretics, but allowed to recant and return to their life.
3. They would be heretics, and sent to live under a vow of silence in a distant monastary, wherein they would work with the monks and be provided for.
4. They refused all of the above, and were turned over to the state. The state would try them, and if convicted, would execute them.
An interesting note, often people at the time of the inquisition would blaspheme in court so that there case had to be sent to an ecclestical court, as inquisition jails were better, prisioners were treated better, and trials were more reasoned and fair.
I would reccomend much more research on the inquisition from credible sources. I can give you some if you like...
Unless hatred and rhetoric are more valuable to you than facts, history, and truth....?

John 15:18-20
The Hatred of the World
18 “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.
--------------------------
That's a sad fact of human history that religion has always been used to perpetrate the most evil and vicious deeds against fellow men. No religion is an exception. All have tainted histories one way or the other.
But this does not mean that we keep dwelling on the past. Its gone, done and nothing we can do today will ever change it.
So lets learn and move on.
I'm a Hindu and my ancestors from Goa suffered at the hands of Christian Missionaries during the inquisition.
Yes, I don't like it but will that change the past? No. I need to learn to forgive. Let go of the past burdens and move on. Become a better human being.
Just coz my Christan brothers have a tainted history, like everyone else, does not mean that they cant quote the bible. There are times in History when Christians have been victims just like Hindus or Sikhs or Jains or Buddhists among many others.
Lets put the past behind us and move ahead together with love and respect for each other.

Why do you judge the Catholics of today for the misdeeds (both real and imagined) of Catholics from the past? To do so is disingenuity.

You can go back and forth on this one.
Have you never heard of the Protestant inquisition? There were thousands of Catholic martyrs who were murdered by the Church of England and her proponents.
Their crime?
Refusal to recognize "the king, our sovereign, to be the supreme head of the Church of England afore the Apostles of Christ's Church."
There are sinners on all sides, brother. Let the one who is without sin cast the first stone!

I am no fan of the Catholic church, but perhaps it would be wise to remember that these institutions and the people who belong to them do grow over time.
I don't think today's Catholic Church can be compared to the Church that existed hundreds of years ago, but this is just my opinion on it.

You who have not sinned, cast the first stone...
This is not a victim statement, but recognizing that ALL are sinful.
Catholics are not perfect, simply forgiven by Christ Jesus.
Praise be Jesus Christ now and forever.

Catholics don't believe the Bible anyway. When they preach it, it is out of context and missing the point.
Catholics are blasphemers that abuse the Bible. They believe in "tradition". That's why the genocidal Vatican has murdered more people than any group in world history.
Catholics are not saved and are not Christians. Catholics believe a false gospel of works that leads to eternal hell (Galatians 1)
