Tell your doctor what's happening. If your doctor is not a psychiatrist, perhaps you need a referral to one, as he/she would have more experience with treating people with panic disorder. It can take some time to find the right medication, so don't give up. Keep talking to your doctor.

I take xanax for panic attacks. It works really well. See a doctor. There are alternate methods of treating panic attacks.
