Could Christians be following the wrong Jesus? Are they following a Jesus that made a living scamming others with false miracles?

And when they had gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain conjurer, a false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar-jesus; (Act 13:6)

Why is it people get so offended when you simply ask a question or present a possibility that doesnt fit in with their concise little world view? To answer your question, yes it is possible. It is just as possible that the catholic church is the great beast that serves the anti christ and we are all doomed for a faith thats only purpose is to trick deceive and blind us. It is also equally possible that we will all burn in the fiery pits of inferno for even daring to question the works and words of our savior Jesus christ. Then again it could also be possible that the atheists are right and "this" is all their is. Anything can be possible. And people should not get offended just because the question is asked.

just because Jesus turned water into wine, doesn't mean he'd spend much time in a bar ...
No, I believe an honest searching heart and spirit will connect with the right one ... what most mis lead Christians are following are false preachers and churches who aren't following Christ at all

No we follow Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Son of God

I don't know why everyone want to claim to be Jesus, even this man is claiming to be Jesus.

Bar-Jesus means "Son of Jesus"

The man was pretending to be a relative of Jesus.

I am atheist myself, but don't try to use unsound logic to come up with unsound theories.

Why speculate in order to cause controversy? Just recognize the wonderful flying noodle beast of netherworld, for he will show you the way to the edge of the cliff...and beyond.
