I have not had spasms in a while. I used to wake up before my body. I would be wide awake yet unable to move, like being paralyzed, creepy!

Mine happen because of meds. So irritating.
My hand will start when I'm trying to write. I just press down on the pen alittle harder.
Going off Paxil was the pits. I had those body jerks out of the blue accompanied by what felt like electrical zaps. Sucked.

Not Really. I always exercise to keep both my body and mind stronger so that I won't have to feel any physical pain in the near future.
I hope I will be all right once I get my fibroids and so-called benign liposoma growth removed from inside and outside my body.

I know what you mean! I get them on occassion, mainly from old soccer injuries. Once I lightly elbowed my boyfriend in the face when we were snuggling on the couch. I also get it a lot when I'm trying to fall asleep and haven't quite made it into REM yet.
