Well, not everything is known.
God as a spirit, is endless in energy and this energy has intelligence.
Good question, As things progress, and bible prophecies come true, maybe God will explain his existence more fully.

GOD is the Alpha and Omega full stop.
The God of the Cults is created with the attributes that suit the teaching of each cult and will always resemble the personality of the cult leader. In the beginning, God created man, and the cults keep trying to return that favor by creating a god of their own.

Good question. Since " He always existed" isnt what your looking for, then I'll just use an example. Whne you look at a geometric circle, where is the beginning of it? There is none, well, where is the end? Cant find one. Its continuous. If we see that in a circle, what of the God that created it? God is uncaused and he will never die

God is all matter around us all energy and this energy creates your life journey however the real question is then what created the energy and then what created that etc as far as our brains understand today it must continue however ever realise theres a beginning and a end. so perhaps energy or god is the beginning of it all and the end is when all energy runs out.

I'm not religious, in as much as, I do not attend services. I believe organized religion was created to control the masses. Devout Christians will say GOD just IS and their faith is all they have to prove this.
Myself, I believe that those who established organized religion created GOD as an explanation for the ancient mysteries of the World and the Universe. Let's face it, until Columbus sailed across the Atlantic, those who presided over the church and various religions insisted that the Earth was flat. The church imprisoned Galileo for stating that the Sun was the center of our solar system - not the Earth.
So, while those of us who look to science for answers have continued to prove the beliefs of organized religion to be erroneous, the devout continue to insist that the non-faithful are wrong for not believing what the Bible and those who preside over religious orders insist is truth, without proof.

Woman created man
man created God
This is similar to :
Woman gave apple to man
and man ate it
(Thats the right way to understand the 'sin' )
So the belief in God is a sin by this logic.
And why I say this ?
Because Buddha says so :
That God is a fiction created by men
in olden times.
In Buddha's way of teaching,
God is a mental construct,
an imagination ,
by following an imagination
we can only reach to a bigger imagination
not truth.
Hence , belief in God is the original sin.
And also the belief that :
God created man.

Sorry, but who can honestly say that this is an answerable question? I got something in an email that works for me:
"I would rather live my life as if there was a God and find out later there wasn't than to live my life like there wasn't and find out that there was!"
I try and remember that not knowing the answers is what actually keeps us going; and how we deal with this is what determines WHERE we're going.

Let's say that God doesn't exist, just like you're suggesting and that the world appeared after an explosion or that we were once monkeys. From where did that energy and matter that caused the big bang come from? Who made the monkeys? Why are there still monkeys? Weren't they supposed to evolve in humans?
There is a Creator. Our imperfect minds can't understand how come God existed since ever.
I know dear. That's what it seems you're suggesting. You should've expressed yourself in a different way.

God is ,
The Originator. He who creates all creatures initially without matter or model.
The Incomparable. He who is without model or match, and who brings into being worlds of amazing wonder.
The All Powerful. He who is Able to do what He wills as He wills (Providence).
But how can one understand , who have made his own limited Brain his God ?
