If your country was in dire need, they needed every human, man or woman to help fight a war. Would you go to war?
Would you and why? What are you reasons?

Could I see a detailed answer? Not people trying to answer the question but peoples thoughts. Thinking over just...well writing an answer.

My husband serves in the USMC. I serve by taking care of our daughter, and supporting him. But I would fight tooth and nail on my doorstep to keep my daughter safe.

Yes.
Your question has the 'reason in it' dire need, need every human being.
However, many of us 'silent majority' still feel an obligation for the freedoms and benefits of living within the U.S.

Yes, of course I would go
You may consider it as protecting an investment- I have paid so many taxes here that it's hard to leave all this wealth to some enemy. My family is here too. And despite everything I love my country and shall do everything I can to protect it from harm
BTW, I am a reservist.

Yes,
Been there done that. If you would not go and fight for your country then move to one that you would.

It depends.
Is it a "real" war like WWII was, or is it a made up war like Vietnam or Iraq?
I would fight in a WWII-type of war, but not in a pointless war like Vietnam or Iraq.
