Yeah I know what I use personally, I was just curious to see what others use. Yeah those measurements are right, for some unkown reason I have always had the big ball advantage

You have to learn to take a little bit off of your swing. Other than that, you must learn to manage the course you are on. If water is past the green, You better play short, If you have bunkers guarding the hole, longer is the way to go. But practice taking a little off your swing on the range. It should come with practice.

Since I am too lazy to make the conversion to yards but the difference between woods Driver=220; 3 Wood =190 ;5wood=170 ;7 wood=160, 9wood=150. Irons 5 =155;6=145;7=135;8=125 ;9=115;pw 100 yards. These are distances for an 84 year old person with a swing speed of90

First you have to know how far you hit the ball with each club which I see you do. In NZ we have marker pegs at 134m and a 100m to the centre of the greens. So i dont actually measure per se but use 10 paces approx for each change of club so if I am 10 paces short of the 134m its a 7iron for me as I hit an 8 or 9 depending on conditions from the 134m. 10 paces inside it is a 9 or pw depends on conditions. This way works for me as I find it tedious working out exact distances and time consuming as well. your pacing maybe longer or shorter as the case maybe. I dont know yardage sorry. Hope this helps.I can't hit a 6 iron 210m!! if I read you correctly.

Generally I use 10 yards between clubs, then compensate for wind and up/down hill to actually pick a club for a given shot.

Sorry, I don’t know meters, I have to use yards.
I know they are very similar but…
Iron to MAX yardage
9 – 145
8 – 160
7 – 170
6 – 185
5 – 195

So, to answer you question, its about 13 yards difference between irons.
