It depends on where your job offer is. In parts of BC, the weather is more like London - dreary and rainy and dark. I Live in Saskatchewan, we get a lot of snow (worst blizzard in 50 years last year) and it does get cold, especially with the windchill but we have so much sun all through the winter. Here we ski-doo, toboggan, ski (downhill and cross-country), ice fish, go for walks/jogs, build snow men and forts. There are also INDOOR things to do.
Take the job and have an adventure!

Have you been to New York ,detroit ?
Many cities in the states share the same weather as in Canada. You see Canada is a vast country ...its does not snow every day!
Infact I lived in Barrie last year ( which is in the snow belt area of Ontario ) and I New york had much more snow fall than ontario last year . We are not the artic thundra as many americans some how believe .
Really you should advise where you are going to work...in newfoundland or maybe its the northwest territories where then you will get considerable amounts of snow .Our provinces are also not as far north as the American state Alaska which I think many Americans picture when they also think of Canada

That is funny!
Firstly, it doesn't snow here every day - we have lovely hot weather in June, July, August and September. Autumn is beautiful with mild days and cool evenings, Spring also has sunny, mild days and comfortable evenings. Winter can be cold, but I have lived here for thirty years and I have never known it to snow almost every day!
Take the job offer and see another part of the world, it will expand your experience and you will have a wonderful time!
Canadians are friendly and neighbourly and will welcome you.
http://www.discover-southern-ontario.com will give you lots of information about life in South Western Ontario - the economy, housing, wild-life and nature of the area.

It isn't that cold and snowy here. Depends on where you live.
The cold and snow doesn't stop us. We live pretty much the same year round. In the summer its the beach, and outdoor activities. In the winter we go skating, play hockey, and just do more indoor activites.
Don't let the weather stop you from coming to a great country.

Well I had little Canadian kids when I was in that age range so I played in the snow, built snowmen, made snow angels, you know! If you don't have kids I'd agree with the sex answer...can also lead to kids, so either way you win!
Snow is great!

The same things that we do where there is no snow. Canadians don't let a little snow get in the way of our fun.

We go out to play. If you can't handle snow and cold, don't come.
