I asked first if he had a gf and he said no. Ok, we exchanged phone numbers. That is when I found out about him having this "friend with benefits". Do I pursue anything? I know he likes me as I asked him out and that is when he told me the before mentioned. HE even left me a voice mail by saying: Gee, I thought you didn't like me! My cell phone hung up on him. He has some issues, but pretty much in check. Help!!! He is busy alot with a teenaged son too. He says I can keep calling but not alot. What do I make of this? I'm a bit mixed-up where my feelings are concerned. I got really hurt by my last bf really bad, and I do mean really bad. But I'm ready.

He's been divorced for years. The son is from that. Guess from what I talked about with some friends, they said the same thing. Seeing how he has someone now, what would he do if someone else came along "if" we got together. I finally told him this: Classmates going out only. And no, no response, yet.

I would leave this one alone. I have a feeling you will also become a friend with benefits just based on the fact that you can call, but not a lot. And depending on his issues (which you also say he's pretty much in check), you might not want to get involved. I would find someone that is ready to settle down with just seeing you and not you and someone else on the side. For all you know, that friend with benefits could be getting the same story when he's seeing someone else (possibly you if you go out with him). Just proceed with caution if you do date him.

Why are you calling him? If he is so busy, then let him call you, then you'll see how much he wants to be with you. I think you are stroking his ego, and the more people that call him the more macho he feels. If he has a friend with benifits, why does he need anyone else. His sexual needs are being taken care of, and the rest of you girls stoke him, and he doesn't have to do anything to feel good about himself.

He said you can call..but not a lot? What does that mean exactly? What is "not a lot" and y would he say that? So he is obviously seeing someone...and I would bet that she is not just a "friend with benefits" but more like his girlfriend or wife. I wouldn't pursue it any further. He sounds really suspect.

Oh, you are ready alright, but this isn't your guy. He has someone and you will be his next in line until the next gal shows up by the looks of what you have written here. Sounds like he might also be married. You don't want to be the other woman.
And if you do really like him, you have to ask yourself: do you really want a guy that screwing another woman?

i would tell him that if he rlly lyks u, then u wouldnt be his "friend with benifits" but his girlfriend so he should decide who he lyks more, u or his current girlfriend
