This guy in the store was just coughing and hacking all over the place and I tried to face in the opposite direction and hold my breath for as long as I could....But he just kept on and on....It sounded like he has pnemonnia or bronchitis! Could I catch this from this guy? He was standing within 5-7 ft. from me!

it depends on what he had. I would definitely be cautious with all the illnesses that are going around now. Take some Airborne and maybe you won't have to deal with it. Good luck

He is spewing germs all over the place. And yes if he has something contagious you can possibly catch it. You need to keep your immune system fully charged with a good diet so your body has the proper nutrition to fight off these germs.

Also, leave the area when you see a person doing that. I'll take out a tissue and present it to the person and say....here you need this to protect other people from your germs. They look surprised but have always said thanks. I figure one day I'll get decked!

Some people are just not taught proper manners. If this person has drug resistant TB.......?

i think i might have atypical pnemonnia and when i'm in stores i try to stay far away from other people, i don't think you can catch it from the guy because i've been coughing all over the place and no one else in my family has gotten sick.

Why didn't you walk away? If it was an airborne pathogen you could catch something.
