And the rediculous thing is that even after people read about all this, they're still going to claim the sky is falling.

Yeah, I know it's been scientificaly proven that it is getting warmer. But, Just as Rachel F said, there's a pattern of cold, warm, cold, warm, cold, warm. We just went through a cold phase so we will go through a warm phase. But it's not as serious as everyone has been making it. The artic sea is not going to melt like the Wicked Witch of the West, sure it may melt a little bit, but not like they're saying. And even if it WAS as that serious, what are we supposed to do about it...?

the artical "Early Cuyler" posted supports my therory. The article was written in 1975 and it is about global COOLING. So the globe was cooling then... warming now... I'll bet it's going to cool down soon...

Your question doesn't sound much like a question but rather a statement. Perhaps you're asking if it's true or false.
I travel all over the world and people claim the weather is doing strange things that it's never done before in their entire lives. The weather is odd and unusual in my home town too.
I helped clean up after Hurricane Katrina and get peoples lives put back together. Big storms like that; unusual. Big storms like Katrina hit the asian countries the following year and this last year they hit Mexico. Big Cat. 5 storms are NOT normal. This is the equater area where global warming affects are least apparent.
Global warming is most apparent in the poles where most of us don't see and don't live. They have pictures and videos to prove the global warming affects. They can see the difference in just 10 years. The pictures don't lie. The storms don't lie. The weather doesn't lie. Mother nature isn't trying to pull a scam on us.
The only people trying to pull a scam is the big coorparations and the politician. The Global Warming scare doesn't promote or support old grandpa style business growth. So the politicians and coorparations cry scam regardless of the facts. The sad thing is we believe a politician or coorparation over a scientist whose follows a strict code of reporting the facts. Politicians and coorparations are supposed to lie, that's why for some odd reason we vote for them and give them our money. But it's another thing to actually listen and believe them. Scientists don't have any track record of lying. They have facts!
Believing facts are a scam is like believing that the world is still flat.
Someone (polution) pulls the pin and throws a gernade in a room. Someone else (The scientist) tells everybody what has happened. The people in the room (us) decide to react to the statement. Regardless of what we decided to believe the gernade will go off. It may be in our lifetime or our childrens. But make no mistake the gernade will go off.

Why do people communicate over with it because of the fact the "church" of world warming, fairly than only discussing the potential for it taking place? How did something like this develop into yet yet another wedge concern? and how can all of us forget approximately with regard to the undeniable fact that we are polluting our environment? lowering pollution for the sake of a purifier atmosphere for our toddlers' toddlers should not be something that demands a political schedule. (and that i think of the founding father of any television channel is in elementary terms a organisation individual.) (BTW - hurricanes do no longer ought to hit the U. S. to be hurricanes. there have been 5 hurricanes this season, 8 tropical storms, and 2 tropical depressions. If the tropical depressions/storms do no longer stay over heat water long sufficient they gained't replace into hurricanes. a lot of those storms went North into chilly water until eventually now they could do injury to the continental US. i'm uncertain if the climate forecasters are waiting for the place the storms will circulate to boot to predicting what number there could be.)

You provide 1 site. I've got about 20 associated with various governments and universities that don't think human-induced climate change is a scam, or ridiculous. The sky isn't falling, but our activities have impacted parts of the atmosphere to the degree where changes are underway that if left unchecked could threaten our survival, or, more likely, life as we know it. We've never been in a predicament of this caliber before, so very hard to gauge in many respects, and to call global warming a "scam" and "ridiculous" is unwise given the ramifications if you are wrong. If you are right, and we clean up our act, we've got a planet that's healthier across the board for us and for the resources we rely on for sustenance.
That's not ridiculous at all, is it?

Hanny Penny the sky is going to fall............
I would say it is a good diversion, it will not hurt to help the Planet Earth. Global warming takes the focus to some thing else and leaves the War to the generals and professionals . Think of the possibility of the terrorist considering the planets needs rather then its destruction It reminds me of the importance of accepting the blessing that comes with every challenge. I believe and trust the Creator of the Universe

Global warming is not a scam. The only one who's been scammed is you. Among other misrepresentations on this particular BS site, the "founder of the weather channel" is not a scientist.
Man-made global warming is proven fact. Do you really expect anyone to take seriously what some kook posts on a blog? LOL

Give me a break. The guy isn't a scientist, much less a climatologist. He has no evidence. He's just doing some political ranting. "Dastardly"? "Whackos"?
Why would anybody intelligent believe him instead of thousands of Ph.D. scientists, backed by a massive database?
He seems to be a conservative. Maybe he should listen to Newt:
"Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich challenged fellow conservatives to stop resisting scientific evidence of global warming"
Good websites for actual scientific info:

Wow, he's read DOZENS of scientific papers. Now that's credibility for you.
Well, I've read thousands of scientific papers. I read them every day. There is no scam. There is no global conspiracy to fake the data. The data are taken by too many people in too many places to fake. The loss of Arctic sea ice is already moving faster than even the most pessimistic models have predicted.
Changing the climate is like steering a supertanker: it takes a loooong time to do it. By the time the worst effects are upon us, it will be too late to turn back the clock, because of positive feedbacks in the climate system. We can prevent the worst of it, cheaply, if we act now. But you can't buy back an extinct species at any price.

I think you're the 10th person to link the Coleman article.
Coleman is a weatherman. He knows nothing about climate science. Even if he did, why does the opinion of one man outweigh the conclusions of thousands of experts?
Global warming is not a scam, it's science. Anyone who thinks it's a scam should have a convention with the people who think Bush was behind 9/11 or that the moon landing was staged.

If there is Global warming than it isn't because of man. Heck, look at the history of the world. We have had more than one ice age, then the climate warms up again. It happens over and over again. It is all part of what made the earth...all part of evolution.
One volcano blowing it's top does more damage to the earths atmosphere than all of mans pollution over the course of several years.
We can make our life easier by living cleaner.......but we can't prevent what nature has in store for us.

So did you see the storm that pounded Bogata Columbia last week? Flooding rainstorm, followed by 3 ft. of large hail, followed by freezing temps that froze all the hail into sheets of ice, then they had a tornado! Perhaps that was just a staged hoax by Mr. Gore! How about Atlanta? Is that a 'scam' to get the people of Atlanta to vote for Hillary?
