There is a FTD special now-18 mixed roses plus chocolates for only $19.99.

She couldn´t go to my wedding because her Mom was being treated for breast cancer, but I wanted to make this time special for her.

We live overseas, so I know I won´t be able to attend showers, but we´ll go to the wedding, so I´m thinking roses would be a good way to show how excited we are.

Or should I just send a card? I´ve E-mailed her already.

Your a great friend!!! What I would do is send a card, and maybe something little that is meaningful in it. Flowers are great, but they die so quick. (Especially if she is anything like me, ha ha, I'm awful at taking care of flowers)

But I just recently got engaged, and my best friend gave me a card with 2 gift cards (one for me & one for fiancee) for starbucks (one of our fav. places) And in the card she had a special little note that said "These gift cards are for the long nights staying up to plan the wedding." I thought it was the best and most thoughful gift.

Just make sure it is from the heart!!! <3

I think that's a very nice idea. Send the roses and a card.

I suggest send roses. They will arrive faster than a card, and the florist representative will ask you what kind of message you'd like on the enclosed card.

My thoughts are with your friend and her mother.

Send flowers w/ a card! Most flower companies will attach a card for free and deliver it. It will be personal and beautiful.

Go for the whole enchilada! Roses and chocolates, it's a good deal, and she'll be so happy you thought enough to shower her with happiness.

send the flowers and the chocs, its not everyday a girl gets engaged, she has been through a tough time and i'm sure she will really appreciate the gesture that you think so much of her to do this, well done you, you are a true friend
