Your salvation is the work of the Holy Spirit who has convicted you of your sin and your need of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and gave you the faith to pray for your salvation. Once you are born again the Holy Spirit comes and live within you as His temple forever (John 14:16,17). Since the Holy Spirit lives in you forever you cannot lose your salvation and you cannot undo your salvation without the help of the Holy Spirit whose job is to bless you.

If in fact you are saved, you will do your best to follow the Ten Commandments (the law of God). Although all of us have broken them, Christians know they can be forgiven if we simply ask it. We all deserve to go to Hell. We need to be thankful to Jesus for paying our fine. After we become a "new creation " we will want to learn to be disgusted with ourselves each and every time we commit a sinful act. Liars, thieves, and adulterers will have a share in the lake of fire. Only repenting and asking forgiveness through the grace of Jesus Christ can save us. We will be accountable for those sins that we commit and fail to ask forgiveness for but our salvation is sure. Don't believe the hype about being happy and at peace once you become a Christian. It's the hardest thing we will ever do.

Your salvation from or to what? Many do not realize that every time the words salvation, saved, save, etc. is mentioned within God's word, is not referring to ETERNAL salvation. Once we sin willfully, we are not SAVED from the chastening rod of our Heavenly Father, for example. Just as our natural parents chasten us, our Heaven Father chastens us, but we don't stop being the child of either. Romans 1:20, tells us we can see the spiritual or invisible things of God by observing the things which He created. We do not stop being our natural parents child when we sin against that parent, and the same is true of the Heavenly.

Don't worry about salvation. Just stay on God's good side, by contributing positively to making this world a better place. God is a good and moral God, who treats people well, who do good things in this world, regardless of what they believe.

By dropping it on the ground and walking away from it.
I'm not being funny, I'm seriously saying that if you just "accept Christ" and then are never changed, you don't allow His word to get into you, then you will go back to being the old person you were before being saved.
Btw, your salvation is not just in Heaven, as one person put it, it's also right here on earth. You are reborn into being a new person, right here and right now.

I love this question. You can't lose your salvation because you haven't received it yet. Keep your eyes on God my friend. Take your eyes off of God and you will never receive Salvation.

If it is given to you then it cannot be lose. It is God desire to give whom He chooses. Those that are call and chosen are safe. So there is nothing of those to boast.
Fear God, for He chooses as He pleases. Who is there to content?

Salvation is yours...You have to be born again....Confess in front of man(witnesses) that you are a sinner and ask forgiveness for your sin, believe that Jesus died on that cross and was resurrected to pay for your sin.... Made it easy for us..Huh ! Amen.. Now, having said that, Knowingly and repetitavely sinning(any disobedience to God is sin, hence there is only one sin) will lessen the chance that you will go to Heaven, but in the end,all people will be Judged.. Salvation is a promise Jesus gave us for following Him...God Loves Us.. John 3:16 tells us how much... The real question is do you want to loose Salvation..THANK YOU FOR THE SCRIPTURE...VERSES 12 AND 13 SAYS IT ALL !!God Bless You ! Nowhere in here says that you wont lose salvation...
1 John 5
1Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
6This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
7For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
9If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
10He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
14And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
16If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
17All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
18We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
19And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
21Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

"If we deliberately keep on sinning, there remains no more sacrifice for sins left - only a fearful expectation of judgment and a raging fire that will consume the enemies of God" - Hebrews 10:26-27
