Enviro-wacko...?

Question

What methods of transport,home heating and cooling,recreation do you use?
If you were told to live in a cave because you would save the planet,would you do it? If someone 'proved' your job was a big polluter would you quit it and find a 'green' way to live.
If there were no caves to find,how do you make a shelter without using rocks and dirt or trees(don;t want to disturb the enviroment now do we?) Are you beginning to see how you 'greenies' only talk but can't walk the walk?

I don't know or care about you but I like living in the 21st century.Makes more sense than that garbage you propose.

Living in a more environmentally-responsible manner does not mean living in a cave. No environmental group is proposing that. None.

Living in a more environmentally-responsible manner does not mean having no electricity, not having a TV, not having a car, or not eating food that you love.

When you go on a diet so that you aren't fat and disease-ridden, you don't give up food, do you? Ofcourse not. It's the same with living in a more environmentally-responsible manner: it's about not living like a glutton. It means living in a way that acknowledges that certain resources are limited.

But I guess taking your own cloth bags to the grocery, walking a few blocks instead of driving, shutting down your computer rather than just putting it in sleep mode, changing a few light bulbs, not eating meat a few days a week, making sure the tire pressure is correct in your car, and recycling is just a HUGE hardship for you, something so far beyond what you could ever handle. How sad. Try therapy.

great tender lavatory paper has been elementary for years as a tremendous consumpter of trees. for my section, i have used recylced for years and am chuffed with it. i do not comprehend why human beings favor 3 ply lavatory paper till they have a continual ailment.
