dr blasting is emotive and i would never do that to you, this is verry funny to me, while i do agree with you, i actually like both versions.......now i dont know which one i like better

i used 4 x 800w "blonde" lights with gels, my assistants walked them around painting the tree, Blondes have barn doors and are quite directable, had to keep the angles and distances right to avoid burning the image to much, i go on, sorry

subject: interesting.

composition: extremely good.

colour: excellent use of complimentary colours.

elements: great contrasts: hard/soft, horizontal/vertical.

atmospheric perspective... focused warm colour in the front come forward, less focused cool colours at the back recede.

You're a clever one :o)

ya,you better skew it !

Edit: He doesn't look like (eek) Robin Williams.. he looks like the husband in Ghost Whisperer !

Yet anuva edit.. Awww shucks !

Very patriotic for the USA; red, white and blue.

I do like the colors, especially since it makes you think about how you lit the trees in red without disturbing the colors in the background. (red gel over strobe)

I think this is a very interesting composition of a subject that has probably been snapped a thousand times without any thought at all. I like the framing of the bridge by a foreground surround.

You KNOW I am going to say this, though. In an image with so MANY vertical elements, I personally prefer a level horizon. I am not a stick in the mud about this, but when a tilted horizon makes me say, "WHY wasn't this scenic done level?" it just does. There are times when it's just abstract and fine, but this has got enough going on without that.

Here's my minor tweak. Feel free to blast my opinion!

It doesn't matter if he's a cool dude or not if he's "married" to this: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/ghost_whisperer/bios/

but here he is anyway. I don't think you look so much like him. http://www.cbs.com/primetime/ghost_whisperer/bios/conrad.shtml

Looking over your port, you like challenging subjects like dusk and night time shots. Both can be very difficult to capture, but yours works. Also I see you straightened out the Tulsa bar shot. keep shooting at night, you'll learn more about lighting that way than reading anything in a book.

You captured the background very well. The red tree limbs remind me of Halloween. Kind of eeery...

It is a neat and different picture that I have not seen anything like it before.
