All over the globe. By paper trail, I have traced my ancestors to not only Native Americans, but to Greenland, all over Europe (including the islands such as the Isle of Man and islands in the Mediterranean), the Middle East, including Israel, Iran, Iraq, Turkey and Egypt, Africa and by DNA to China, Japan, the Philippines, Polynesia, Australia and South America.

Depending on what set of ancestors you are referring to, I come from Mexico, Spain, England, Germany, and the Americas... I am totally American 4th generation on one side - 6th on another and therefore when someone asks me "What are you?" I reply back with a smile that I am of Mexican descent but that I am a proud American. I have ancestors that have fought in all wars since the American Civil War through the conflicts that the US is involved in today. I have a lot of Mexican and American Indian in my background as well and will list them when someone inquires further of my ancestry. I have made a page of one of the more unusual surnames in my family tree. Thanks for asking!

Most of my family is from Ireland and came to America during World War 2.My German ancestors also came during World War 2 but they had to change their name from Von Hight to just Hight, because for obvious reasons people were not exactly fond of the Germans at the time.So they changed it to sound more English.I just recently found all this out from talking to family members.

Since they were primates , maybe Gorillas/Chimps ...or whatever... they primarily lived on tree tops in deep jungles. Sadly ( thankfully ?? ) during that period the world was not divided into Continents / Countries etc.... hence very difficult to say from which part of the world.

Sometime way back they came from Denmark, migrated to England and in 1663 came to the US to the Jamestown, Virginia colony. In 1775 my family stopped being English and started being American.

Ireland. They came across in the 1870's and 1880's, on both sides of family, as economic migrants!
