does this man really love me or care for me. READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ANSWERING?

i have bipolar 2, mostly depressed. i was in the psy ward 2 months, after about 4 1/2 weeks of medication, i started feeling better. i met alot of people in there and i keep in contact with some of them. Most psy patients out of the hospital kind of forget about you. I was told by many of the people that i was a really sweet caring girl, but i need to take care of myself first.

i met someone in the ward, he asked this one guy to tell me that he liked me. told this guy to tell the guy that liked me i was flattered had a boyfriend.

well all was ok, because we became good friends, i talk to him everyday, he called me almost everyday in the hospital.
He asked me to go to puerto rico with him because he wanted to introduce me to his family. i was the first girl to meet his family.

but, something changed i ended up really falling in love with him. i'm quite sure he doesn't feel the same, he says he loves me, but i asked him once i really wanted truth, does he really love me, he said that it's hard for him to fall in love because he was really screwed over by his last girl she was from columbia, i mean financially and sexually. he broke off with her when they were clubbin together she was making out with another guy at the bar, and he saw. He emptied his entire bank account for this girl.

He was also married to a peruvian lady awhile ago, she took the kids and everything else and went back to peru.

I met his mother she came out from PR to brooklyn for a visit. He said she really liked me alot, but she said to him don't you to hurt this girl and i don't want you to get hurt.

AFTER him asking me to PR i have helped this guy mentally/financially. BUT NOT UNTIL I GOT OUT OF THE HOSPITAL. He came out a couple of times from brooklyn to the island to visit me, but it's 2 hour train ride. He said i need to go to brooklyn to visit him before he came out again to visit me.

he calls me with his sob stories that he wants to borrow money from the loan shark, which makes me feel guilty and i give in and send him money which i really don't have; he said that one time the loan shark was after him because he didn't pay the money on time because he was in the hospital.

He never asks for the money out right, i just feel guilty and send him money, without him asking me.

Not that it really matters, but he is PR only dated/wed hispanics. I am white,blonde (irish/swiss/brazilian)american. Never married. He's 45. me 30's. ALSO NEED TO MENTION WE NEVER HAD SEX.

What do you think does he REALLY care for me or what? REMEMBER he asked me to PR before i helped him out financially. Is this compulsive love on my side?

REALLY REALLY confused never fell in love with anyone before when i was with a guy. But have problems with my boyfriend. but love them both.

REMEMBER AGAIIN HE LIKED ME IN THE HOSPITAL, HE SAID I WAS PRETTY AND REALLY KIND AND SWEET.

HE ALSO ASKED ME TO PR FIRST OFF TO MEET HIS FAMILY.

If he loved you, he would not take money from you. Get rid of this leech before he ruins your relationship with your bf. He is 45 years old. He should be able to support his own self, regardless of what the ex did to him. He definitely is not worth your time and energy. He is playing on your feelings to get the money. If he really cared for you, he would not have even mentioned his financial difficulties to you.

Any guy who wants to borrow money from his girlfriend is using her for her money. Plain and simple. Tell him you cannot loan him any more money till all is paid back in full. Watch how long he loves you then.

You need to take a huge step back from this guy before he leaves you broke and with kids like his other women.
