You can ask PAWS.- its an org that can help find a better home for the puppies. They screen the persons or families that would like to get a pet and will monitor them each year.

Interview them, do a background check, and personally investigate what their neighborhood is like.
The German Shepherd is a breed famous for being used as guard dogs.
Your babies might be raised to guard either property or worse case scenario- criminal activities. In both situations, they might be maltreated.
In some cities, (like mine) the breeders of German Shepherds are very strict for that reason. There are at least 2 interviews, and there is a visit on the homes where the puppies will be raised.
I heard that sometimes they will be considered smart enough to be "canine police officers". These traits will show up best in a loving home where they are raised as part of the family.
If you know of the breeders in your city, give them a call and I am sure they would only be happy to give you advice.
Shepherd pups are oh so gangly (all arms and legs) and goofy and lovable. And they can eat you out of house and home so make sure they will go to a house where they get fed well.

See the home itself if its a well balanced family quite middle class, also which has a nice and big garden cause sheppard dogs need to feel free and run to be in good health.also ask if they got any dog before to know if they really know how to treat a dog like bath it,giving it the right food.
also ask them why they are planning to have a dog,you will know whats on their minds.

Ask if they've had a dog before, and if there are children. If you look on Battersea dogs website you can see the kinda questions they ask.
I dont, however, know what answers your looking for but the site should help with the questions.
How much do you want for em?
