people?? Why would he punish people who followed the religion but were not able to accept that he is God in their heart?? This seems like an awefully cold punishment for someone not being able to acknowledge truth.
Are there any verses that say that a person who is good but does not know God will get to heaven?

Because all gods are imaginary there is no god punishment. Just zealots that think they are doing gods work will kill others.

This is an example of what is called an "assertive conclusion." and it is exactly the type of question used by the serpent in the garden.
"Didn't G-d tell you not to eat from any tree in the garden?"
You have a false premise in your question designed to inflame people. By putting it in the form of a question you can innocently deny it. This is the same format Paul used over and over.
G-d gave us the Torah to follow. Those who follow it will be rewarded, those who don't will suffer affliction therapy.
By the way, G-d in our heart is a Jewish concept.
Why is it the christians don't know their book says that those who know G-d follow the commandments?

That's why Muslims must pray 5 times a day.

These religions thinik that god is a subordinate of their prophet obliged to carry ttheir orders .
But it is not so.God will punish only liars and frauds who threaten people in his name .
God does no belong to any religion.
He was not babtised by the prophets and initiated into any religion.
Only chrtians and Muslims go to hell or heaven according to their scriptures .A Hindu never goes to hell or heaven.He has his hellcor heaven here in this life itself the Hindu God never punishes any one .Punishments are suffered by any person only by his action.Suppose you jump down from the top of a building , you have your bones broken and you might even die .This is the reasut of your own karma(Action) and god is not involved in this .Natue takes it s own course and no one interferes with it .

God isn't willing that anyone goes to hell. He paid the price so that it wouldn't be necessary. He doesn't MAKE you accept it, it's your choice.
God is loving and forgiving, but is also Holy. Why do people hate Him so much when He's given so much for them?
You're being presented with so much truth through this message board, that you can't say you didn't know. All you can say is that you didn't believe.
God is handing you a gift - eternal life - that's completely paid for, and you're slapping Him in the face for it.
Read the Bible, especially John and Romans. It's really self-evident.

NO SIR...!!!! There aren't any such verses in the Bible!!! ALL HAVE SINNED!!!! Except children under certain age... The Church grant them immunity! but in the Bible even Jesus Christ was born a little devil himself and he had to learn to do good and reject evil!!!

God can only punish those who believe in the existence of god, and God can only punish the living, and the reason for that is, since god is a fiction, people actually punish themselves, by fear of eternal punishment, but that fear is the only punishment there is.

Why follow a religion that is flawed. It is like crossing the ocean in a giant raft with a small hole.
A religion that does not allow individual variation is dogmatic, and should be shunned by all rational thinking person.
God does not reward or punish, he does not have to. He created the law of karma to take care of your deeds, just as law of gravity. You try to to jump gravity pulls you down. It takes supreme effort to break from gravity, similarly it takes superhuman effort to break from law of Kerma to be one with God.
No human being, even if his follower call him god, can tell me what God will do.

Because Jesus is the ONLY way into Heaven. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me." (That's somewhere in John, I think) God is very clear about this: those who don't believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior won't go to Heaven. And it's not cruel. God gave us a choice to believe in him or not, and those who don't believe in him can't be with him after they die.
