The best thing to do is take care of it and report it. If you try to hide it, thats when you get in trouble. I had Soldiers that tried to just leave for Basic Training without paying it thinking the Army would keep them from going to jail. The sheriff shows up to Basic Training and takes them away and then you get a fraudulent enlistment on record too.

If you pay it, you need to tell the military also or it will show up on any background checks you get done and then that when you get in trouble with the military and can void your contract. When that happens, you can get a fradulent enlistment again, kicked out, or sent to needs of the particular service and forced to do a job you don't want to do. The Navy sometimes will keep you without a rate. A guy a knew from high school joined the Navy to be dental hygenist. In his training he was caught shoplifting at the NEX and was not allowed to go the Hygenist school and ended up spending his first enlistment mopping decks with no rate.

You have a warrant because you did not show up in court. It should not be a problem because it is traffic related. Therefore, you have to pay the fine.

You should ask the police officer if it is on your record or if you could talk to a judge and have it dismissed if it does.

Either way, it should be treated as minor and the Navy should not care much.

I really am not sure. However, it can be worked out if you talk to people.

It sounds like it is not too big of a deal.

Although not wearing a seatbelt would probably not be an issue, the fact that you have an unpaid ticket might. Get it paid ASAP and do whatever it takes to get it resolved before you're supposed to leave. Other wise, the military can charge you with fraudulent enlistment.

pass pay it. you will no longer be arrested in case you pass to the court docket homestead and guard it. (like the only guy or woman stated ...) that's a misdemenor and no enormous deal till you nevertheless permit it pass. The longer you permit it pass the extra serious it is going to look. If it have been me i could look earlier the choose inspite of the undeniable fact that and plead in charge and need he permits you to tell him which you probably did no longer have the money and that's the reason you probably did no longer pay. many circumstances they are going to shrink the fantastic and set you up on a charge plan. because of the fact it become allowed to pass to warrent it is going to be a extra physically powerful fantastic. in case you do no longer look earlier the choose and in basic terms pay the value ticket you will could desire to pay the fantastic plus "bail" on the warrent. make certain you hold all workplace work in basic terms in case there's a venture in an prolonged time, like the court docket no longer recording the charge or wanting to instruct data to the army , etc.... stable success and ideal desires.

Pay the ticket and the warrant all will be well, oh and don't forget to buckle up, guess click it or ticket works huh

A seat belt warrant can vary from state to state as to how serious it is. Call the court that is holding the warrant and satisfy the warrant. Let your recruiter know ! He can always find out anyway so don't try to hide it.

You need to go pay the ticket right away. When you get to MEPS you should tell them about it. You don't want them to find it after you have shipped. Good luck, hope it works out for you.

Not wearing a seat belt is a misdemeanor and will not show up on your record. Pay the ticket and be done with it before they suspend your driver's license.
