Is your diagnosis based on a Medical opinion or just your own personal observations? If she is truly ill then it is time to have her checked out by a Dr. or a hospital. If she truly has a serious illness then why would anyone delay getting medical attention for another person, Especially your mother!!!!! Call up her physician and make an appointment, she may have something that can be easily cured, BUT she isn't going to get better on her own.

you need to get her to a doctor because they wont do anything (like going to see her) without her consent. Once they have seen her, then they can make a decission whether to have her committed, but this is usually very rare and she would have to be adanger to self or others before they would do this. contact social services for advice. good luck.

Take her to the doctor to find out what is going on and to discuss options in her care. If the doctor can't help you, he should be able to refer you to someone who could advise you.
