I am so mad. My boyfriend came over to hang out, and his 10 year old brother came over. My parents bought me a 30 GB iPod video. It was so special. Its the nicest gift I have ever gotten! When I am happy, sad, mad, glad, whatever, I bast my iPod and scribble in my journal. Well my bf & his bro came over and my homework was spread out on the floor. My ipod was laying on my math book. I leave the room for a couple minutes. I come back in, we hang out for 20 minutes, then they go home. When I go back to do my homework: I see my earphones on the floor~ but NO IPOD. I am devistated. I cant stop crying. I had an iPod nano a few years ago....and I lost it.....I felt guilty for months. I still do. And now my iPod, which I love equal/more than my boyfriend is GONE. ANd the worst part is, I was just going to make love for the very first time with my boyfriend in a few days (dont judge), and why would I do that now that my iPod is gone?

My mom asked his brother and he started making up all kinds of dumb stories. If he was innocent, he wouldnt have acted so guilty!

Also, this is no sweet 10 year old boy. He smokes, he drinks, he runs around town late at night. I know; I have seen it! He is a little punk.

First, I never judge anyone. Next, I love my ipod touch almost more than my own husband. CONFRONT EVERYONE!!!!! It's 6am and I just got done downloading stuff onto my toy, after about 3 hours! So I understand. Get it back, be pushy, kick some a.. Wish I could help.

i am not surprised that it happened. a fancy gadget is a very strong temtation for a 10 year old kid. tell your boy friend all the feelings and hurt that you had posted here and tell him that if you weren't so infatuated with him being there with you, you would have had more sense than to had left that temptation laying there and would have had took it with you when you left the room. but now that that had happened, as your boyfriend, he have a commitment to help, and protect you and if he really love you he would get it back for you and he would tell his little brother that what he did was wrong and it was a good thing that this person is so understanding and forgave him for what he did and for him to never do such a thing ever again. and if he don't get it back for you, then that's hard proof that he don't really care or respect you as his girlfriend and it's a good thing all around that that happened before you went and did something that you would've regretted for a long time. don't tell him what you was going to do until he make a decision on how he's going to act on this. if he make the wrong choice, then try and have the parents resolve and retrieve the item back for you and dump the coward... k, just read your add on. tell your b.f.'s mother. if that guy cheated on you, he probably won't be much good, you could still try what i suggest first though. good luck

Things happen for reasons......You can get another iPod....but you can never make love for the first time again.
It sounds like you and your boyfriend are still young. I only say that in that he may not know how to handle this situation BUT you see it is his situation to handle. Not yours, your mothers, his mothers. When you left the room your bf had the responsibility as your boyfriend to watch over your room. He also brought his brother over so what his brother does again falls back on him. you are his girlfriend so why is he not making his brother bring back the ipod.. your boyfriend should get you a new ipod just because he does not want too see you so upset( then he needs to deal with his brother).......Sex, is not a game even with condoms and the girl using birth control ..you can still get a std or pregnant if YOU and YOUR boyfriend can not figure this iPod out how can you deal with having a sexual relationship..Maybe things happen for a reason ..This time to show you your boyfriend is not mature enough to be in a sexual relationship.........( if he needs your mother to deal with this ipod situation)

Well, my brother stole a bag of games my boyfriend had lent me. But I believe my boyfriend cared about me enough to stay with me even after that. He hates my brother now.

I think the more important thing here is this, "And now my iPod, which I love equal/more than my boyfriend is GONE.". I am sorry but if you had love that was at the very least equal to the love for your boyfriend you do not know what love is or are too immature for love.

Im a guy just to enable you comprehend lol. in any case this says some thing approximately his character hes no longer a actual guy theft is an surprisingly low crime inspired totally by using egocentric motives, with this in recommendations he's no longer by using any skill a "keeper" i'd confront him returned and tell him he should be a guy and get his stuff without delay and it could be superb to interrupt up through fact if hes with you at your place and stole from you or your loved ones it somewhat is an surprisingly undesirable sign. My suggestion sell off him and pass on.

If he backs you in your feelings that his brother took it, possibly even getting it back for you, hang onto to him. Otherwise, drop him like a hot potato. You should be the most important thing to him, as he should be to you, even more important than an Ipod. Does he back you, or his brother? If it's you, keep him. If it's his brother, get rid of him.
Are you sure he didn't take it himself, and not his brother? Now that I think about it, just get rid of him. If he didn't take it, he knows that his brother did, and hasn't done anything about it.

Tell your bf to get your ipod back or it is over between you. Tell him that your parents do not want you hanging with people that will take your things. If he really cares, he will get it back. He is in the house with his brother all of the time.

If your mom already asked him (the 10 year old brother), then I doubt it would do any good to ask him yourself.

I would ask your boyfriend to get it back because he probably has more influence on his brother than anyone in your family.

1. maybe you lost the iPod
2. if you didn't, maybe his brother took it - but it's possible your bf wasn't paying attention
3. maybe it was just a prank and you overreacted
4. you have mental issues if you like an iPod more than your bf...

4. in my opinion really shows that you're immature and that this iPod-thingy is the least of your worries

You don't date the thief you just date his brother... i think thta you should explain to your bf the situation and ask him how to deal the situation... He should persuade his brother to confess and return the i-pod...
