Where can i adopt a Chihuahua in or near Santa Barbara?

Question

Every place on the web that raises chihuahua's are out of the state. I want to adopt a chihuahua, but possibly one that isnt over 400 bucks....Help anyone?

Google: Chihuahua adoptions Santa Barbara

They have several rescue orgs. and even have
specific dogs listed.

You can also just google chihuahua adoptions, often times they will send you a pic of dog and description of temperment. They then ship the dog to a place near you where you can pick up the dog.

Try chihuahua Rescue..all purebred dog clubs offer a rescue, or referrals for dogs needing homes. Fees are usually nominal. Go to Chihuahua club of America and go from there, usually there is a listing for Rescues on their sites..

Try petfinder.com, your local newspaper, a web search. You shouldn't have trouble. They are very overbred. The Fresno newspaper always has about a dozen ads for them.
