Can they fall in love?

i'm in junior high. i personally think that no, we cannot fall into REAL love. we can be infatuated with people, and we really do develop feelings for other people: we care about our boyfriends/girlfriends, but not on the same level that an adult can.
i define real love as being able to see yourself dying for that other person. whenever one of my friends says "i'm in LOVE with him" i always say back, "would you die for him?" and they always say no. that's how i know that they aren't really in love with them.
i also think there's a difference between loving someone and being IN LOVE with them. for example, i do love my friends. i love my pets. i love my famiy. but i'm not IN LOVE with them. i truly think that junior high/high school can love people, but it is nearly impossible to be IN LOVE.
i'm not ready to be in love! and i'm very accepting that i'm too young to really know what it feels like to spend the rest of your life with someone. i'll leave falling in love to the adults for now!

At different ages we ALL can fall in love.. No matter what grade a person is in when they fall in love it is as much as in love as it would be if that person was in 5th grade or 12th grade.
It is just the older we get that the idea of love changes.. What we think of as love at 14 will not be what we think of as love when we are 15 17 or 25..
So YES.. a person in junior high/high school knows about love..

of course they can. Some of them may just have the temporary feelings but there are some people who are older that what they are. Their thoughts and believes have been developed quicker than others. That's because of the experiences that they have gained via their parents, their hard/difficult lives or hanging around with people older than them.

Yea, for about a week or two. It never lasts in Jr. High or High School.

Jr High and High School are two completely different things.
Jr High -- I dunno.
High School -- for sure in the later years.
I fell in love in high school...

They know nothing, and of course they can fall in "love".

They can fall into what they THINK is love.

They usually know nothing about love, though they know something about lust only i.e. sex and sex only.
Before falling in love, they usually fall in pits of lust and get wrong notions about love.

They don't know a damn thing about love. They should know English, Math, History, Science, and last but not least SPELLING!!!!!!!!!!!
