Either visit the local school in your area or phone your council to see what schools are in your catchment area that your son is eligible to apply to. On enrolling, the school will ask for his birth certificate but, other than that, it's just a case of informing the school as he will be entitled to schooling if he's resident here.

you'd need to be living in this country... to send him to a uk state school, find out from your local county council the schools in your area, and contact the schools as to their admission process

if you want your child to go to a uk boarding school, you'll need to pay - they're all private

Choose the school and ring to speak to the head teacher,He or she will let you know if there is a space available for your son,and if not recommend another school.Good luck.
