ok! There it goes again. I mean he shows with every act and by what he says that he loves you more than everything. And in a day after 8 years he leaves, though the previous day was still making such statements. Sorry for speaking hastily in the question.

First of all, MEN ARE PIGS! :)
You have to ask yourself if he was really feeling that, if he believed what he was saying. Maybe he was into the relationship just for the sex. For how long have you been dating?

For a man it is easier to start over with impressing a woman. It's all new, he is someone strong, with a lot of confidence (why wouldn't he? He has a girlfriend already?). But to stay in a relationship where he is already exposed willingly and you know how he is, that can scare him a lot and make him want to get out. Or at least get away for awhile.
Chances are he will find another woman who is receptive to his charms and he will begin to think bad about your relationship. From there on every little mistake you make he will just consider that you are good together. It is easier like that for him. He feels no remorse for going out with another. it's like: "our relationship was already ending, so why not go out with someone else". That can happen very fast! Especially when you have been together for some time.

Sounds like this individual really only cared to let you hear what you wanted to hear and not describing how he truly felt and once he lied to you about his true feelings to you he had to keep the guise of deception going and live the lie . His conscience eventually won out and the one he was suppressing all these years madw it unbearable and he left and hopefully he can find himself again and try to refine himself and his conscience . It is a dirty shame because he broke a major cardinal rule in any relationship that of honesty and mutual understanding of each other and our feelings.

It's very easy, some people do not have a conscience and find it very easy to do harm to other. I say people like that are just negative energy your better off without. Just relax try to get over it and be at peace, because what goes around comes around.. Take care
