Based on what is presented: Both the Brazilian Jiu jitsu classes (at: www.maqld.com) and Shukokai Karate appear be lacking any real street fighting quality about them. They aren't exactly McDojo's (from what I can tell), but look to be very "kid friendly" places, if you know what I mean. Kyokushin Karate has a legitemate and traditional feel to it. However, this usually means a formal, disciplined enviroment, that may/or may not prepare you for anything down and dirty (at least, not right away). Southern Praying Mantis Kung Fu seems to be just as good (or better), and sounds like the one most geared toward real street fighting; especially when you /or your opponent are intoxicated.

If you search try and find a Judo dojo near by judo is one of the best it teaches discipline, self respect, and throwdown techniques, if not I would suggest Jiu jitsu many of my friends partake in it and they have learned many things and have been loving it. If you do try I suggest you make a commitment to stay for at least a month, the first month may be boring but after you will get to learn many techniques that could helo you if you were being attcked on the street!

Kyokushin is very good, and praying mantis can be a great style.

You are limiting the question. Why does it have to be one of the ones you cite. The best way to answer the question is to learn what methods are taught to Navy Seals or Army rangers, or other special forces units; they HAVE to learn the best "street fighting" methods because for them it could much more likely be a matter of life or death--much more than the average person.
