We learnt a song growing up called "Six white Boomers" about santa's sleigh being pulled by kangaroo's. In Australia we have SSSOOOOOO many uniquie animals... We have platypus (real lol), echidna, octopus that can kill you, jelly fish the size of your thumbnail that can kill you.... well lots of things that can kill you!! But it's heaps of fun, come visit us one day!!
Take care, God bless

The roos got the job of pulling Santa's sleigh after the Allied Wombats Union - a particularly militant group - decided that they were not being given the right kind of spear grass and the Tasmanian Devils Carters Union could never agree to anything.
The roos missed out on Jesus' International Tour of 1 AD, but they must have managed a booking with Noah Tours, Inc. but were let off at the wrong destination after Cap'n N (as Noah liked to be called) lost his charts in a pile of misplaced elephant dung. The platypus, being the shy, retiring creature that it is, just stayed put and had a lovely time with nobody around.

You asked a lot of questions there, maybe i could help you with some, no they don't pull Santa's sleigh, they jump around too much, he gets convicts to pull it here, yes Noah did have Kangaroo's on board, i doubt Jesus had a pet Kangaroo, but could have, Hey we do have Platypus here, i've seen them with my own eyes, but you wont find them everywhere, click on the link below for a platypus, did you know they have a poisonous spike? the link below even has a small clip of them, cute little buggers, just north of where i live, residents tried to stop a supermarket being built because of the impact it might have on them, but alas the supermaket won the battle. oh you know we eat kangaroos here don't you, no joke.

Kangaroos would beat the hell out of you if you tried to make them a beast of burden, lol.
I'd be interested to know what the official religious answer is for the kangees, platypus, and Tasmanian Devil.
This brings back memories though, my mother wrote a children's book called "Katie the Christmas Kangaroo" that I loved.

no made up animals in this country. as for the ark - sure why not - he put steve Carell on it.
here is the info about santas sleigh -
Early on one Christmas Day, a Joey Kanga-roo
Was far from home and lost in a great big zoo
Mummy, where's my mummy, they've taken her a-way
We'll help you find your mummy son, hop on the sleigh
[Verse:]
Up beside the bag of toys, little Joey hopped
But they had'nt gone far when Santa stopped
Un-harnessed all the reindeer and Joey wondered why
Then he heard a far off booming in the sky
[Chorus:]
Six white boomers, snow white boomers
Racing Santa Claus through the blazing sun
Six white boomers, snow white boomers
.. On his Aus-tra-lian run
Pretty soon old Santa began to feel the heat
Took his fur-lined boots off to cool his feet
Into one popped Joey, feeling quite OK
While those old man kangaroos kept pulling on the sleigh
Joey said to Santa, Santa, what about the toys
Aren't you giving some to these girls and boys
They've all got their presents son, we were here last night
This trip is an extra trip, Joey's special flight
Soon the sleigh was flashing past, right over Marble Bar
Slow down there, cried Santa, it can't be far
Come up on my lap son, and have a look around
There she is, that's mummy, bounding up and down
Well that's the bestest Christmas treat that Joey
ever had
Curled up in mother's pouch all snug and glad
The last they saw was Santa headed northward
from the sun
The only year the boomers worked a double run

Yes Kangaroos pull Santa's sleigh here, because it is far too hot for the Reindeer in our Australian summer.
They are white kangaroos.

Yes, we made it all up. There are no kangaroos in Australia, there are just mock ups and little people in kangaroo suits who put on a show for the tourists.

No. Santa tried using the roos at one time but the little darlins just couldn't seem to get the hang of that flying thing, and, again, it's good to see your pretty face back on the boards.
