You can attempt to cover it with white, and you will have some success, but you will have to be patient, take some time to accomplish it, and spend a little hard-earned cash. Number one: It would be far eaiser to cover it with another tattoo, (such as a tribal piece). Number two: White is a hard pigment to hold in the skin, I've personally seen only one large tattoo that involved a large area of white (this was on a dark-complected hispanic male) and I mentioned how unusual it was, and he said "yeah, I had to go back to him four times to get it white like this." Number three: I would get an artist who will custom-blend (as best he can) the pigment to your natural skin tone, and then go back every three weeks or so, to repack the pigment again, until it finally predominates the former pink tattoo. You could do the same thing with white, but it's going to look a little strange. Good luck! Oops, sorry about that, I just re-read your details. Sure, you can make it a lighter shade of pink with white and probably get what you want in only one sitting. Easy cake.

Just give it a couple of weeks and see if the color fades a bit after it heals. It usually is really bright right after you get it done, but the brightness should go down a couple of notches after it's healed. Congrats on your new tat!

Honestly, long sleeves seem to be your only answer here. However, I have a wrist tattoo and even when I wear long sleeves, they don't do a good job of hiding it. Anytime I move my arm upwards or any other movement that "tugs" on the sleeve, the sleeve gets pulled up a few inches, thus exposing the tattoo. My job doesn't care, but it's something I've noticed.

It's so bright now because it's new. Chances are it will fade a bit after it is healed.

When you need to cover it, just use some pancake foundation in your skin tone. It will make it look a little faded but the surrounding skin will look natural.

If you just got it then in might be bright due to swelling. And it will fade over time anyway.

Is is Healed yet?
It may lighten when it is.
I only have one color tattoo(I'm more into black and gray).
Its on my wrist and it healed lighter then it looked after my artist was done with it.
