For those who like to make healthy fruit smoothies at home, what are some of your favorite ingredients to use?

Do you ever like to throw in any extra stuff (e.g. wheat germ) for extra nutritional value?

Banana
Fresh peaches
Non-fat vanilla frozen yogurt
Fresh strawberries
A little fresh orange juice

That's it. Just whip it all up in a blende and enjoy. Very refreshing and quite nutritious. Wheat germ makes it taste like ... well, I'd rather not say.

I usually put strawberries, banana, soy milk, ice and a teeny bit of wheat germ (plus some sugar if it needs it) and it really keeps me going. Yummy too :D

Instead of using ice in your smoothies, use frozen bananas. It keeps your smoothie from getting watered down and adds flavor.
