Hoping that this is an honest question I will give you an honest answer. It sounds like you are TRYING to do all the "Christian things" but you are working of yourself, quit trying so hard. You sound like a lot of people I know, they do all the right things with the right intentions but the heart of God is far from them. First take a breath, then go back to life as normal, however include some daily scripture reading, no old testament yet and catch a service on Sunday, find a church or turn on your TV, but also and this is SUPER IMPORTANT you must accept Christ as your Lord and savior. Without this you will have no guidance from the holy spirit, without the holy spirit you might as well be reading a history book, really. The words will not come alive in you without the holy spirit to birth it in you. The reason I say to stay in the New Testament is because the bible tells us no man can come to the father but through the Son. you must become intimately acquainted with the Son before you can receive the father. There is no magic potion or pixie dust that you can spread and like magic you now have faith to move mountains, this is why we call it being born again, take baby steps, you know the whole Rome was not built in a day thing. Just let go and let God, as soon as you let go of the wheel he will take over from there. Many blessings to you.

God said "seek and you will find" Keep seeking. Nobody said there was a time limit. I think eternity is a little bit more important than a couple of months seeking with no immediate response. God tests people a lot. He is probably testing your sincerety. Keep in mind that God sees your heart. You cannot think things that He does not know. If you acknowledge that there is absoutely nothing about yourself or your past that you can hide from Him, it is extremely humbleing.
I pray that you don't give up. Seek sincrely and with all of your heart. Make sure your motives are right and God will reveal himself to you soon, but I guarantee it won't be how you are hoping or thinking it will be. God will reveal Himself in a way that if you really really don't want to believe, you can still write it off as a fluke.

First you need salvation. You can't just start doing things to expect that God will show up in your room. You need to Confess (2 Corinthians5:17) with your mouth that you want God in your life. Yes that's good that you are doing all those things but God is not a show where he is going to show you wonders. Second Faith is about faith my brother is not about expecting if you're seeking you have to have faith and not thinking if he is there or not... Tell him how you feel learn to grow a relationship as a friend not as a instigator it's a process that you have to go through then do what you're doing but i suggest that you have passion for God and love for him because with that it's pointless also faith (hebrews 11:6) and then deny your self from the world and those thoughts that tell you that he is not there in the name of Jesus...
If you need extra help Read a purpose drive life if you ever get a chance...it's a good book look for it..

Chirst and God have only soo many hands, and that goes along with if they might even care or not...what if everyone's interpretations are opposite of reality, what if they don't exist, what if they are just REALLY busy, and what if they have a devine plan and cannot possibly answers any prayers that would obstruct it....
personally though, I've seen things, but I still havn't seen Jesus or God....I have seen ghosts though. Even then, they say those can be hallicinations from "sleep paralysis" or "heavy levels of electrical feilds" etc....the brain's anomolies.
So my best proof for my beliefs are those rare strange occurances I remebler till this very day in vivid imagery...but that's about it.
One thing I do know, Life is a magnetic balance...no one suffers 100% and no one feels happy 100%, and most people thinking about themselves 90% of the time when your in public and not others around them.
Relaxing and smelling the roses and taking a great glance at life's vast little details everyone misses (except the younger children who don't know how to ignore those details)...and you will start to feel much better each day. The little things are the best things....oh my yes... The rain drops, the sky, the breeze.....try to feel and see them all with twice as much observation and thought...then...you may even find the one who made all of them. because it is those things, that were made by the "true creator" of life. Morning is a good time...or evening...whichever you prefer. Just go outside and stare into a deep meditation...things will become much clearer...your problems will slowly but shurely form little possible solutions and your positive qualities will also glow stronger than ever. Our state of minds play a big role in our feelings...and religion can dissapoint if one forgets to focus on their own mind and the earth's natural surroundings. Your mind and the earth are your best bet for peace if in doubt. The wonders we all pass by...I hope you enjoy.

Look to Jesus and pray.
This is what He's done:
The Greatest Love Song
Do You Know Jesus
By Mike McCracken
(chorus)
Do you know Jesus?
And how He loves us
How He died just to save us
Just because, He loves us
Judas betrayed Him
Who once was His friend
They beat, flogged and scourged Him
To where He didn’t look human
A crown of thorns on His head
Just another place where He bled
Humiliated in every way
Why, they even tore His clothes away
And there wasn’t any time loss
To where, they made Him carry the cross
To drive nails through His hands
He’s more than just a man
And Jesus still loved them
After all they did to Him
He did this for us too
When He said, “Father forgive them,
for they know not what they do.”
Jesus said that there is no greater love that a man can give than that he lay down his life for another. Jesus did this for all those who believe. I wrote this out of the Bible so everyone will know how great God’s love is.

Ask someone from the church, or try a church bookshop and get a copy of the book "The Greatest Miracle In The World" written by 'Og Mandino'
It is a short, easy to read book - can do it pretty much in a night.
In the meantime, don't try so hard, you need to know God before you will find the answers you are looking for. If you are genuine, try this book for starters, there are many other titles by this author, you will love them and they explain things very clearly.
God bless you in your search for Truth.

Keep at it, WITH HUMILITY; peradventure God who is Sovereign may grant you what true Christian experience is.
Look at your writing. I can sense the demonic spirit of pride so strongly. You cannot even have an experimental sense of the defiled spirit of pride that you have. Even the manner you asked, you come with so much pride......do you think God will ever answer you? Do you think salvation is easy? Do you think God must answer you? You are a wicked, depraved sinner bound for hell, a bastard in the sight of God (Heb 12:8, KJV) - but yet, God did promise.................
Psa 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Thus, when was the last time you truly come with true brokeness and contrition, minus all your pride? When was the last time you poured out SINCERELY in your prayers from the heart???
Only two months, ......and you claim.......'long period'?? Some kind of joke?? Forty years, the Israelites was in the wilderness.............and only two from the first generation entered the Promised Land!!
So.............. give me ten good reasons why God must reveal Himself, particularly to a proud person like you??

I can totally understand the fustration of seekng god.
I am with you.
When I threw my hands up and turned back down the road I
walked to reach god, I had a feeling he was behind me all the time watching me.
It drove me nuts, and it was then I realized that if I didnt beleive in god walking towards him, how come I have faith
when I run away from him.
Really with all honesty I know hes there and theres a part of me thats really too scared to get real with god.

sometimes it takes a live changing event but sometimes you have to believe truley believe. all these things your doing are great but i believe it was the apostle paul who said "faith without works is dead" maybe if you tried preaching the gospel or doing something other then reading the bible and etc.there great for when you have faith but these things don't make you have faith. if that faith is not there these thing's mean nothing but i believe you have some faith or you would not have the desire to believe so hang in there God will act hope this helps
