The problem with those people who say that, they are just parrots who are idiots. They repeat whatever they hear or think.
I know some will copy paste some verses from Quran stating "Get rid of nonbelivers" but this is exactly what i am saying ... they are idiots and illiterate!
WHY??
i never speak about other religions because simply, i did not read enough or research enough. To condemn a book or critisize it you need to read it from A to Z, otherwise zip it (your mouth) and thats what i do!
So if you guys know some versus from the Quran that say "Get rid of nonbelievers or be violant or use force..."
You haven't read the full paragraph, coz the truth is that GOD said to Prophet Mohamed on a certain incident (to be exact some War with non belivers who DECLARED WAR on Muslims) So it was normal that GOD will order muslims to get rid of non believers and kill them. ITS WAR!
Islam never started War.. nor encouraged violance. Its the religion of peace and love Treat others well alwys

Terrorism is just Politics hidden behind a religion .... and all extremists are just mentally ill and they are taking the religion to an extreme trying to be perfect .... and you have this in all religions! extremists are everywhere ...

Salam dear brother.The non muslim religion followers and atheists said that Islam encourages vio;lence or getting rid of non muslimbelievers because:
1)they do not read qur'an throughly from A upto Z
2)they heard only from rumours or they heard from someone who wants to discredit Islam and its followers
3)they read only certain verse without connected it to some verses before and after such verse so it will mislead
4)they hate muslims and have prejudice with ill intention
I do fully agree with all your statements..We should practise our life guide (Qur'an and Hadith) given by Allah in our everyday of life because we wants a happy and safety life on this earth and in the life after death.

The problem is that non-Muslims are too ignorant or purposelly choose not to interpret the context in which it was said, and often leave parts out in order to further spread their lies.

Sure it says things about go to war against non-believers. But also think about the context. Those revelations were said at a time, when other faiths were constantly at war with us, and we needed to protect ourselves and other Muslims.

It also talks about marrying multiple wives. Again, a lot of ignorant people choose not to interpret the context. This was a time with lots of wars, there were many widows who could not support themselves, so men were told to marry multiple wives (upto a max of 4), if they could financially support them.
Its not valid in this day and age anymore.

Assuming that it's true that Quran doesn't encourage violence then it must be the Muslims themselves that's giving Islam a bad name and yes there are all sorts of extremists in other religions as well but in modern times Muslim extremists are the most dangerous.
