You could go either way on this one. Smoking a little pot now and then won't hurt you and might even be pleasant and calming, but smoking regularly will hurt you, and it's already been noted that hurting yourself is not considered okay. I'd say (speaking from very limited experience) that if you're smoking pot more than twice a month you should think abut what you're doing a little more seriously.
That said, especially if you are under 18, you probably should not be smoking pot either way. I don't know whether Christians regard breaking the law as a sin, but it is very much not a good idea anyway. Inhaling smoke is poison no matter what else is mixed with it. It's your body, your life, and your decision, but be smart about it.
Hope this helps a bit.

It doesn't say anything in the bible about doing a J.
In fact all it is is a high that lasts an hour or two, then you have the best sleep of your life, then you get up the next day with fond memories but no migraine or a personal relationship with the human waste disposal unit.
But if you do it for too long (years) ... you really do get "stoooopid man!" You really do.

Consider the following:
1. The fresh air granted to you and every other creature.
2. The healthy body given to you for yuor sojourn here on earth.
3. The diseases caused by tabacco emmissions that affect the lives of infants and children.
In satisfying your desires and pleasures you should think about the consequence it may bring even though you dont intead to hurt anybody.
I am speaking from experience.

Christ was the anointed one and the ointment had as one of it's major components cannabis which comes from the Aramaic now translated as flowering stems in the book of Solomon which lists the ingredients . they don't like to talk about such things but they were known in those times obviously.

1 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 20 says 'therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.'
Do you feel that you glorify God when you smoke pot? When you get addicted, will you behave in ways that glorify God? And how about how you are treating your body, a gift from God?
In my opinion, it is, but it is up to each of us I guess

Yielding control of your mind is the sin. It may be pot, alcohol, anger or a slot machine... makes no difference. If you allow yourself to be controlled you are sinning.

Well, that would be pretty awkward since monks in the middle ages smoked cannabis to "communicate" and feel "closer" to the "lord".

Don't know if it's a sin, but it is stupid.
Just look at any one who has been smoking regularly for several years, it should be pretty obvious.
