It proves that God's personal name (Yahweh in Hebrew or Jehovah in English) was very important to Jesus.

John 17:6 repeats the comment about God's name and how Jesus made it know to his followers.

Yashua means "Yahweh is Salvation" where as Immanuel was a prophetic announcement that through Jesus an Yahweh's anointed one, God is with us.

No where in the scriptures does it say "Jesus is God"
No where in the scriptures does it say "Jesus is equal to his God"

Immanuel - God with us. Yahshua - Redeemer.
So Yeshua (Jesus) is God with us means, He is Yahweh.

God's name is not Jesus. It's Jehovah. Ps. 83:18: "That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah,
You alone are the Most High over all the earth."

Isa. 12:2: "Look! God is my salvation. I shall trust and be in no dread; for Jah Jehovah is my strength and [my] might, and he came to be the salvation of me."

Isa. 26:4: "Trust in Jehovah, YOU people, for all times, for in Jah Jehovah is the Rock of times indefinite."

Ex. 6:3: "And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but as respects my name Jehovah I did not make myself known to them."
