Satan will tempt you with what ever he thinks will trouble you the most, to cause you to question your Salvation. Just rebuke him in Jesus Name, and focus your mind on Jesus. Pray always in the Spirit !

I am sure some people have thoughts about molesting children. They should not let anyone tell them that this is a bad thing. It is only natural. They should not live a lie. Being a child molester is not bad.
This is the most likely direction we are headed. Look, gay thoughts (thoughts that enter your head) are not your fault. Gay lust (pondering those thoughts in a lustful way) is bad. And wait, I'm going to say it ...despite popular opinion, being "gay" is bad. It is wrong. You cannot be a Christian and say that being gay is natural. It is wrong. Thinking about gay sex is wrong. I don't think you are going to live the real lie that people on this forum are preaching, "that being gay is okay and you cannot help what you feel". I know you are not professing to be gay.
If you have thoughts, it is only bad to keep thinking them once you know what you are thinking about is wrong. The best way to kick these thoughts is to replace them with something else. Every time a gay thought enters your head, puprosefully change the thought to something totally unrelated. Like golf or work or family...whatever. You will find that if you repetedly "resist" these thoughts, satan gives up. If you would consider yourself weak in resisting these thoughts, talk to a Christian councelor.
By the way to all homosexual advocates who will disagree, I am not saying that I hate "gay" people. I am saying that I hate sin...all sin, not just homosexuality.

I am afraid I don't follow the reason for your rant. (question) Ok so your a gay Christian and you don't agree with gay marriage. Whats the point of this rambling on. You open by pointing towards marriage but end up talking about you families inability to face reality. (your sexuality) Look if you have no interest in Gay marriage then so be it, but don't deny others the right to marry simply because its not what you want. EDITing. The I dude. If you have read the bible you would know that its does not allow just about anything. You would know that homosexuality managed a grand total of six verses out of a million. You would also know that if a Bride is found not to be a virgin she is to be stoned to death. The good book is full of similar verses. A million of them in fact. So why are you selective in which one are right for you? You do understand that God does not have a verse that allows us to select our chosen verses.

I was raised a Jehovah's Witness. I have had gay thoughts ever since I was about 17. I was taught and learned that being a homosexual was wrong in God's eyes and detestable to him. So I prayed, that if it is so wrong, to PLEASE help me get rid of these gay thoughts and feelings. They never went away. So I thought maybe getting married to a woman would help. It did not, and only caused more heartache when the marriage ended after 21 years. During my mirage, I did everything a good JW should do, I studied for every meeting, I read the Bible every day, I did extra work around the church, went door to door every weekend and some times more. I answered, I gave talks, I was very close to becoming an elder, but all this time, the gay feelings and thoughts never went away. It has only been the past 4 years that I have left the JW's and come to terms with my self as being gay. All I can say is Good Luck to you.

To be a Christian means you believe in Christ, am I right? This has nothing to do with the fact you are having "gay" thoughts. I assume you mean fantasy ideas or sexual feelings toward your own sex. Maybe there is one certain person that is looking attractive to you? You may be bi-sexual, which means both men and women can turn you on, but there are many of those around. Forgive me if I seem to be thinking you may not know the term "bi', Just want to cover all the bases. There is nothing wrong with you, whatever you are feeling is alright. Only you can answer the question after some serious looking into yourself. Keep your chin up,and good luck.

You don't mention your age...but some gender-curiousity and confusion is a normal part of the maturing process. You're curious. But I bet if it came to it, you wouldn't go for a gay experience, because you know what you know. Don't worry about it, if you obsess it will just get harder to deal with.
Lay it before the Lord and ask him to help you deal with it. He will--I know from experience.

Satan will cause us to have many thoughts. He will have you do something like this and then make you believe that your created that away.Your not gay but that liar would like to make you think that you are.Every time this thought comes read your Bible or start praising the Lord.
James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death

You may have gay thoughts, but remember that homosexuality is not God's design for your life. We all battle with something

What's a "gay thought"? Have you been taught that gay people have different thoughts than straights? Or have you been taught that the mind of a gay person works abnormally? Can a gay person think "Christian thoughts"?There's nothing good or bad about your thoughts except maybe that you think there might be.

What does being a christian have to do with your thoughts?- your thoughts are your own - you can't help that.
If you feel they are gay, does that mean you are attracted to the same sex, or maybe you are attracted to a person who happens to be the same sex?
