It is obviously the one to whom Jesus gave the power of the "keys" ... and the power of binding and loosing ... both on earth and in heaven ... which was first St. Peter, and is now his authentic successor, the Pope.
The only alternative to that is the 50,000 different "little popes" that the protestants follow ... none of which has any authority from God at all ... and none of which possesses more than a small fraction of the whole divine truth.

so some distance you have defined the consequences of a difficulty yet you have not mentioned what the subject is. what's he petrified of? in this same section I often feared the ridicule of outsiders and being a failure as a frontrunner. i can't talk for him although interestingly such as you all ought to sit down with a pastor and get to the muse of his fears and then attempt to choose a thank you to overcome them.

None other. If you look to men (or rather, humans) for spiritual guidance, you will be disappointed every single time.
