I don't hate atheists. Real Christians don't hate atheists. They are made in the image of God, and we are commanded to love them.

Most don't hate Atheists, they just believe because they are non-believers that they are going to hell. Personally I believe that the afterlife is what you make it. So if you want to blink into non-existence go right ahead. Not any skin off my back.

well, hate is a symptom of fear and some folks fear anyone who is different from themselves. anyone not of the body is a threat. that's why religious people congregate. so they can feel strong, safe and right in their numbers
PS. how can you obey a command to love? what a strange idea. as if you can manufacture emotion by force of will. **shrug**
