Poor children should have health insurance, food and shelter.
Suzie you are not paying for them, their are millions with out, many children in the U.S. are homeless and no room in shelters.watch the movie" John Q " based on true story.Mass.
put a law into effect this year every one must buy insurance.
This is impossible for millions who are common laborers, and can not pay rent or afford food. There is no longer welfare, they
have transitional assistance,so when a battered woman with 2-3-4- children gets left alone they may collect tiny money for one year only. These mothers then have to find work, with no car,no money for child care and yes none of them have insurance.Do you all know where billions and billions of tax dollars go.It is a disgrace.

Not it's not. Poor kids are the people who most need health insurance. Because their parents can barely afford basic living expenses or, at least, society's average living costs, how can they be expected to pay for surgeries if needed or anything like that?

Good job thinking of the poor kids in your version of the Bible!

No way it could be god inspired then....

P.S. Kids get health insurance, it is the parents that go without. At least here in the Northwest, USA. They don't care about you if you are over 18.
What is the difference between paying a big bill per month to insurance to cover those who can afford the better health insurance or paying taxes to cover everyone? One third of my damned check goes to insurance, and I make jack ****!

Yes. Health insurance is the problem. If there was no health insurance, costs would be cheaper and doctors would still make house calls. Kids would be able to afford a visit to the doctor.

No, the health insurance poor kids in the Bible had was called "healing". It happened by going to God and asking him to heal you. It didn't always work.

It depends. Do I have to pay for it because their parents are lazy?

I know I will love the goverment taking over healthcare! Uncle Sam should do a great job choosing a doctor for you and telling you what procedures they will allow. Hey communism sounds better all the time! Heck, we are all a bunch of idiots who can't manage our own lives...let's let the government do it. They do so well with everything else. I know I was just thinking, "my taxes aren't high enough"..."we should work 8 months for the goverment instead of only 3". That way, the poor kids can go to the doctor. Oh wait...they can...medicaid.

George Bush professes to talk to God daily. I am certain that if God wanted poor kids to have insurance, he would have instructed Bush to sign the SCHIP legislation. Therefore, it is wrong to give poor kids health insurance in your version of the Bible.

No, I still think you should stick with the original version, but add a forward about quality healthcare for all and send the first copy to GWB.

Yes, they should have it...maybe in your version of the bible, it could also be that people could actually love their (future)children before they're born, and consider selflessly waiting to have them until such time as they are able to properly care for them.
