Cornbread Dressing.... all the way ! I could eat nothing but a big plate of Cornbread Dressing..... yummmmmm.

what the heak is up with all the mash potatoes? I love mash potatoes also, but there is nothing special about them, you eat that all the time. Like at lest once every other week if not every week. So its not special. On Thanksgiving its all about the food you only get once or twice a year. mash potatoes are great..... but lets pick something special. Sweet potatoes rock and thats a great thanksgiving dish.... I like sweet potatoes anyway you make them. but in the end the Dressing is the winner, but sweet potatoes are a close runner up. Mashed potatoes dont even make it to the table on thanksgiving day..... however they better be there the following week with the pot roast lol

Well my favorite dish really consists of several things...I call it my thanksgiving sundae...in a bowl I first put mash potatoes and make it into a cup and into the cup I put turkey then the dressing and more mash potatoes to cover it...then I top it off with jellied cranberries and pour turkey gravy over the top...yum

Mashed sweet potatos. Nothing but milk, butter, and salt on them (I hate sweet potatos/yams with sweetners like marshmellows on them.) I used to think that was what sweet potatos tasted like until I got a real true taste of them without all the other junk on it.

Mashed potatoes with gravy. I find both green been casserole and sweet potatoes nearly inedible. Or oyster dressing or plain dressing.

I always dive for the traditional stuffing and garlic mashed and gravy first. The turkey can come later.

Carmelized yams with walnuts. No marshmellows though!

Stuffing from inside the bird ranks up there too although there might be problems with food poisoning. I risk it sometimes because it's so good!
