I think it was good deal for the money, however, the pic doesn't look like it did @Best Buy when I bought it.....I just need some good numbers to play with.

Cecelia: I hate to burst your bubble, but that Westinghouse isn't exactly a top rated HDTV! That being said, read the below site for directions and suggestions in correctly setting up your TV. Be aware that much of your problem probably results form using a different signal input source than was used for demo purposes in the store. BB may even have had it hooked up to a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD (1080p) input.

Did you plug it into your standard def cable or antenna?

That TV CAN look as good in your home as it did on the show floor - but you have to feed it HD signals.

The number one reason people return a HDTV is nobody tells them that they need to upgrade their home service to cable or sat that provides real HD channels.

Standard def (even from cable or a DVD player) was fixed in the late 1940's and only enough information in the screen for a 9-inch tube. You are displaying this on a high-resolution display and you are seeing how poor the technology was.

Upgrade your service or try an antenna. Use the website below, type in your address and see if HD antennas is close enough to your home to use a simple UHF or indoor antenna.
