Most of the answers below are on the right track. open the hood and inspect the black rubber AC hoses passengers side up front and a smaller one between the radiator engine down low either hose has what looks like antifreeze on it Green color that is A/C lubricating oil. You'll have to fix the leaks put the system into vacuum anf refill with approx 1.43 lbs of 134a refrigerat and 1.5 ozs of new oil.

i'm so dissatisfied w my 2005 Nissan altima 2.5. i'm caught as nicely at domicile waiting on some miracle to happened. Who am I kidding? suited it particularly is adverse to experience so careless. the undertaking is the keys turns in spite of the shown fact that it does no longer start up.

if its a 2005, then take the car to the dealership, most warranty`s have a 3 yr/36,000

If the system is mechanically sound; then it's probably just low on freon. Most modern systems use R134 freon.

you need more of those, uhh..
freak i forgot. but it's this chemical that makes your ac cold. every car should get it after a couple years.
should cost around 80 bucks?? sometimes less, depends where you go.

the compressor maybe needs a new belt or a recharge for the coolant.
