Gout is an arthritis, mine is in my big toe. The joint hurts even when I sitting and the foot is up. I'm not a diabetic. I have small bruises come up like you describe, usually on the inside of my right elbow. They burn and sting but go away in a few days. Now you are diabetic and bruises are very dangerous, it would be the best to see a doctor. I've family who are diabetics, they are two nieces.

It does sound like a very cute idea but it might not last very long. You are always walking on your feet and the toes rub against your shoes and socks. I would consult with an artist to see if it is a good idea. I got a toe ring 15 years ago and it hurt. Just went over the top of the toe and not around it and now it just kinda looks like a blob of ink even though I took very good care of it. It hurt a little since it was such a small spot but not unbearable. Good luck1

Get yourself to the doctor, NOW! The blue can turn to black, in turn no-toe. If you are a diabetic I strongly urge you to take care of that now. It's a circulation problem. I worked at a mortuary before and buried a lady with black toes and fingers. It was gross.

Since you are diabetic may be wise to see a Dr. if you have health care (I don't). I am also diabetic and know that that could be a problem. It could be a serious problem and not something to put off too long!

Get to a doctor. You have to get this taken care of NOW so you don't lose the toe. It may be too late already. We diabetics must take VERY good care of our feet to avoid such troubles.

YOU should see a doctor and right away. This is for appropriate maintenance of your big toe and your health in general. What shall we then say to these things? If GOD be for us, WHO can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. I wish you well. Peace, Love and God Bless.

It sounds like it could be that being your diabetic, they can be quite prone to it.
Best bet is to go see your Doctor I would say. Best to get it treated early.
Good luck and I wish you the best
