Most JW churches are quick builds meaning they are built in a very short period of time (Usually under a week excluding the foundation which is poured weeks in advance giving it time to cure) Putting windows in adds materials costs as well as labor hours..
Addition: To the poster above Mormon meeting houses often have very large windows... Temples on the other hand have very few windows..
Meeting house= Sunday services
Temple= need a recommend to enter only Mormons in good standing allowed...

Huh, I am a Jehovah's Witness and we have windows. It depends on where you live. Sometimes putting windows in may be too expensive but all of the Kingdom Halls in may city have windows. Maybe if you see one you could take a picture and send it to us.

Generally, a Kingdom Hall is built without windows only in areas which tend toward hate crimes and vandalism against houses of worship. Sadly, it seems that the questioner is from such an area, and perhaps even more sad that such religious intolerance occurs worldwide.

Perhaps these anti-Witness bigots fail to understand that their vandalism and persecution actually work to help prove that Jehovah's Witnesses are true Christians.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

You need to get out more.
Go to Google/images,
type in Kingdom Hall and you will find many Halls that do have windows.
The newer ones because of time and cost, we have left the windows out.
Also some people like to throw rocks and not just slander at Jehovah's People.

Are we to assume that before asking this question you have seen each and every Kingdom Hall in your city? Country? The next country? The world?

I was born into a baptist church and they use to say it is because they didn't want God to see inside the church. lol Which of course is wrong and shows the ignorance.
