Well I was set to have the shallow bowls with floating candles but after seeing this one... I think I might go taller instead of lower. http://www.bouquetsofelegance.com/images/Decorations/Centerpieces/c69.jpg

I like that's it's causal yet appropriate for a wedding. I would change up the flowers to match mine, and change the colors...

We are having a casual outdoor wedding with our reception at the (well appointed) hall at the fire house where my fiance is a member.

What do you think?

The tall centerpieces will be more dramatic but I would still add votive candles around the bottom of the centerpieces - The flowers in the picture are very inexpensive if you choose a different flower keep the price in mind otherwise you may go over your budget.

Hi and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

I like the look of the tall centerpieces, but I wouldn't do it. It does look really nice, but I think it obstructs people from chatting with someone on the other side of the table. Also, the beauty of this centerpiece, in my opinion, is at the TOP....so once people are seated, they are not going to really notice it!!

You could do these for the food table, cake table, etc. But I would stick with something lower for the actual table centerpieces. I like the look of the pot with flowers on the mirror and you could put some votives next to it. But I would just "chop off" the top portion.

Just my opinion....

I'm also going with the taller centerpieces, just make sure that they dont block the conversational view of the guests. Very pretty though!
