According to Joy Behar, women should not let a man know that she is funny because men want to be the funny one in a relastionship. She also said that a funny woman can't make Mr. Happy hard. Is there any truth to the aforementioned statements?

Well, different people like different things, but most people, men and women both, like a person with a good sense of humor.
What's unappealing, for most guys, is a woman who's sense of humor is loud, sarcastic and abrasive.
Few women would like a guy like that either.

Who ever wrote that crap should be shot!!! I love a woman who can be funny. She should also be kind, sweet, and honest. A woman who has a sense of humor is great! Now she should not be making a joke out of everything, but it is good for a woman to be funny. She should also know that there is a time for being funny and a time to be romantic, happy, sad, and every other feeling in life. Yes men do want to be funny because it shows that the girl likes you when she thinks you are funny and not just some stupid guy. I think when a girl can be funny and cute, that is the sexiest a woman can be. The biggest thing is to be who and what you are. If you act like your not really a funny person, then you will attract guys who do not like funny women. If you act romantic and as a rule you are not a romantic person then that will cause issues in a relationship. Many of the problems today in relationships is that one or both are or were acting like something they were not. Then when the real them comes out, the relationship falls apart. That's why people say you should be yourself. Also never expect a person to change who they are. There are a whole lot of marriages I have seen where the girl married the guy thinking he would change once they got married. Well they don't! So you have to take people as they are if you find them attractive and really nothing else then the relationship will end and you will get hurt. You should find the other person attractive but they should not have to be perfect, know one is or will ever be. Just be what you are and do not act like what you are not just to get someone to date you. All that will cause is heartache and make your life harder to deal with in the long run. Good luck. =)
